    So wait, this file is the newer version of the file which included the fixes to the stiff steering?

    Where is the BASE+ NDef_imm & 2 +BASE+Full versions located? Or, rather, I suppose the key word is "will" have for the moment....

    No the extreme hardness of version 1 of the basic file had been partially correct with the BASE V2 or FIX, certainly the forces are still to be balanced but you can already rebalance with personal tuning (I will do it later);
    Now this is the second file that has not been done to solve the problems of the first is another profile even if the base is the spread, involuntarily or fortunately the changes introduced partially reduce the defects of the former, add other characteristics and worsen others;
    Finally we will have the 3rd profile the immersive;
    At the end of the development I will make the definitive tuning, now it's too soon to do it, the purpose is to find you with 3 profiles and choose the one you like

    This BASE + Partial Old_d_Raw seems to me less irremant and grumpy than the BASE one and therefore the cut on the lateral and longitudinal forces is felt, but I want to test it well, thanks for this you saved me the weekend. ;)

    In the meantime, what should we expect from this next NDef_imm ?? o_O

    Optimization for the single car ... the immersive Reiza profile (unlike RAW) has variables that are linked to FFB settings for each car (I do not refer to the physics that is the same for everyone and each car has its own physics) ... I am referring to the FFB, I explain better, each car has its own level of scrub, engine, yaw, damping etc ... ;)

    Furthermore, in the immersive there are many more characteristics, some already operated, others prepared and others still not activated .....

    Even if I have an excellent equipment I have to admit and tell you that I am really denied to make changes on the settings or set the files with my harmony. :(
    But this FFB file likes more and more because despite being clumsy I can get what that I want with the cursors at stake and then if I want to lower an effect down that value and I find my balance. ;)
    More I can't do, but now I'm happy with this game. Thank you @Stakanov

    You are working without touching the values of harmony in the least, but the more implementation code and the more the waters are calm ... I confirm that for now we have only good sensations, both here, on me on a DD1 basis and on the steering wheel of my son T300. ;)

    Wow. I came here to say something about the Atmos file I just tried, to realize the discussion exploded with new builds B). Anyway, I had a file from last week and it felt absolutely brilliant. I used my favourite testing toys: Porsche 962C and Porsche 911 GT1 (latest beta build).
    Your ffb has one thing which I absolutely dig: great front end load/unload feel. Holding force in fast turns is insanely great.
    The only thing which bugs me a bit is the same effect which I do not like on default profiles, but yours is much more tamed. And that is that weird countersteer effect which feels like the game has some aid enabled wanting to help me with countersteering.
    Anyway this is my new ffb profile to use, and I cannot wait to try newer builds, thanks for these!

    For now, staying with the same base and the same tuning serves to evaluate the different nuances between the files, but as soon as I finish the 5 files, we will move on to optimizing the tuning and creating new variables that can be set to vary every aspect regarding the new code implemented … as the countersteer effect that is modifiable, when I get home tomorrow I'll look at it and point it out to you!! ;)
    Everyone will be able to choose the file they want among the 5 and set it as they want... :)

    Has anyone tried feeding a force feedback file into Chat gpt. I wish i had more knowledge of how to talk to it and get it to do what i want. I fed it parts of a file but i just don't understand.

    Might be a interesting experiment for people who know what to do with it though

    I figured out that its a good way to learn what each of those lines can do for the force feedback. It does a good job at explaining what effect it could have, but yeah its not capable of generating its own custom but if you feed it some lines and specify what you want from it, it does suggest some values.

    So at the moment, it is somewhat useful, i feel like it has potential though, especially for understanding whats in the file

    So, I finally gave it a go. A question: how high damping are you using? I mean ingame? I have CSL DD, 8Nm, and even with damper set to 30 the steering has quite big oscillations when I get my hands of it... and with smaller rim diameter it is even quite strong with just one hand off. Tried Grp C, GT1, P1 gen 2, Formula Ultimate Gen2, Grp A.

    Thank you guys!
    Totally offtopic and only a suggestion to all custom creators.
    Could you consider naming a custom file including the respective game version or build they are created for? Or include that info inside file?

    Good morning everyone, I'm new to the forum and I'd like to start getting closer to custom profiles, I've seen and read the last around 100 replies in the discussion, but I have to tell you that I wouldn't know where to start first.

    The link to the @ricxx user's recap discussion on custom files was very useful, but now how do I find my way through this forest of files?
    Your Custom FFB File Collection

    I think I should try them all :eek: to get an idea or is there a shortcut? o_O
