When it's so easy to "Mod" a Ferrari car into a game, can you blame Reiza for not wanting to pony up the dosh?

 

What does that mean?

 

How do you know that Reiza don’t want to pony up for Ferrari licenses? Also, I’d strongly suggest that the availability or otherwise of mods has absolutely no bearing on what Reiza look to include as official content.

 

Ferrari is rumoured to be an expensive license, but not impossible. I agree with an above post that says maybe it should be given its own dlc/release if it ever comes to ams2 because we are talking about ferrari.

 

Well sure, but that wasn’t my point. I was responding to someone saying he doesn’t blame Reiza for not wanting to pay for / release Ferrari content because modders could add them at no cost to Reiza. I was merely asking how he knows / why he thinks Reiza don’t want to pay to licence Ferrari. Nowhere have they indicated that.

There is already an Audi Quattro mod for AMS2 but Reiza still went ahead and will be releasing an official Audi Quattro. I don't think Reiza is at all bothered by what mods exist and what don't.

And i as a player do not care if a mod of something exists, because if Reiza can make it an official part of the game then all the better, that way it will have the official dev treatment .

 

I don't know if this has been asked, but at the IMSA 2023 Petit Le Mans there were 50 cars in the race, does this mean Reiza will increase the maximum opponents from 31?

Reiza content is way better for many reasons, but one big one for me is that the car will be in the same group. Mods are cool, but I would like to have them in the same group as the stock ones.

 

At first I thought it was a spelling mistake from COTA but this doesn't add up because keyboard keys are not near enough.
So my second guess is some interesting abbreviation from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
