Ok, I see they tweeted a partnership with RCO. That's nice. Hopefully RCO and LFM can make AMS 2 MP more populated.

For me, Multiplayer is to stressful. Tried it again with the release or LMU and man I was frustrated as hell, it‘s really hard to get a clean race done. Of course my lack of skill an my very slow pace did not help

 

Try RCO, it's really good. LFM I don't know how it's going to be tbh. Depending on your timezone it can be hard to find players in RCO, but for european evening it's usually quite nice.

 

Tried RCO before and it was ok, for the most of it I don‘t like the track & car combinations. But, that‘s just my personal taste and I have to say RCO is working really well.

 

I hope it works out great with LFM, but this integration is not a sin quo non condition to expand online multiplayer. Rf2 didn't flourish there.
And the major problem with LFM's AMS2 integration before (from memory) was not about stability but (lack of) features. Reiza may have done the (some) necessary steps and that was what Renato was saying all the time (long term development vector).

 

What else do you propose to expand multiplayer?

I've been asking for AMS1 MP features in AMS2 to enable reliable league racing, but so far, well...

 

It was more lack of some fundemental features such as working log they could rely upon.

I doubt they would publish the news if they wouldn’t be confident to have it good enough to work at least decently (based on RCO and what I have seen in beta tests, including one LFM one, I’m sure that is achievable)

I’m glad about LFM. Brings some extra visibility and hopefully brings new audience to the game. I do think AMS2 has a lot of potential to grow, much more than rF2 had on LFM. Great variety of tracks and cars with more being added all the time, so no need to rely on mod content (unlike rF2 and AC)

 

how? i have Football Life 2024 which is PES 2021 for free and that goes up to 100 gigs for me with my 200+ stadiums hitting about 45 gigs. I assume you use something where it adds alot more leagues

 

I‘m confused. So LFM is official, but RCO is not official or not even the truth?
I wonder why there is radio silence about this here on the Forum from Reiza?

i'm sure it is a lovely car... but man if this ever arrives in the game it will be AMS2 version 22,349.23, by which time not only will there be a cradle-to-grave sims-like racing driver career mode (don't forget to order extra wingnuts for your first toy go kart to improve +1 braking when you get to age 40), but also there will be 3d trees on all tracks

Edit: ok, I see now just after I posted this. Tin tops are the popular ones, as per usual

 

But GT4 at Brands Hatch is a good pairing.
Like I wrote before, most of the car & track pairing are very strange to me: P4 and Nordschleife? A lap is going to take forever, same for F3 at Suzuka. Formula Trainer at Monza Junior is a better fitting for example.

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is this Low Fuel Motorsport stuff everyone is talking about? I only first heard about it some months ago, something about Assetto Corsa, but didn't pay too much attention. Is it a paid system? Do you have to link your Steam account to use this service?

On Simracing.gp they offer MP racing for AMS2. It was just awful back in the day. It was totally unreliable. Servers not starting, rubber banding, crazy pings, disconnects, missing results... hopefully they fixed it
