    Yes but is present in all original karsten's files and in the derivates or mods from me and others users that have this function at the end in the output for limit him

    As you can see, the maximum ceiling for the clip can be a fixed value, another variable, a function or even a calculation expression and it is used a lot because it does not distort the values below the desired limit ... in fact we do not have or rarely have them present soft_clip ;)

    The tire resistance value was a little too low. I increased it to achieve, among other things, more firmness in the middle and a better center feel. I also increased the "main volume control" for the rack and street scale a little. Everything together gives more punch in the feel

    I was actually using your original v4000 with an incresed value on speed resistance scale with great satisfaction. To use this I just need to re-download it?

    Yes you can download it and customize it to your taste if you don't like it. Or you can stick with your customized file according to your wishes

    Oftentimes, there are suggested in-game settings contained within the ffb_custom_settings.xml file themselves. Also, in addition to the guidance provided by several custom-FFB authors, the attached FFB Guide might be useful in gaining familiarity with the function of the various in-game sliders when using Reiza FFB profiles. For my part, I like to understand and appreciate how custom tunes (including their use of in-game settings) differ from Reiza's foundational FFB system.

    Hey guys. I'm using the latest Atmos file on my T150 and I wanted to know how can I achieve the 'dynamic damping' feel from ACC where the wheel becomes stiffer the closer you get to the peak grip of the tire while turning. (Think it's called gyroscopic effect?). This feeling is very pronounced in both AC and ACC and it would be great if there's a way to get that in this sim as well.

    I would say that the table recommended by Reiza and indicated by @john Ellis is quite correct, lately I would also extend the damping on the low range to a level of 0-25 (obviously not beyond so as not to flatten the steering wheels that are too weak), on the medium range between 25-50 and on the high end between 25-75.... the rest of the values are almost all to your liking except for the GAIN... and I must say that the whole problem lies in the approach you intend to follow with it.

    For some time the used on custom files by many users has been (and still is) to maximize the GAIN as much as possible until obtaining the greatest possible forces from their equipment while maintaining coherence and the greatest possible informativeness Once this is done season everything with an adequate level of FX effects, this has informative advantages, but working close to the maximum limit of possible power implies using or lowering the LFB and DAMPING to avoid oscillations or peaks of both racks and effects... it should be underlined, however, that the author of the rFuctor files has never made this tendency explicit, on the contrary it has always represented the opportunity to keep a GAIN a bit lower to have and/or obtain the opening necessary for the use of the remaining sliders without the constraint of the maximum possible power.

    In the past I also applied the maximum possible GAIN on the low end wheel (G920) and consequently all the other sliders (95-15-65-15), but now or recently I have returned to a slightly more Reiza style approach (certainly influenced by my own file which now inserts part of the Reiza profile code inside it) and using the other sliders more, in the case of maximum gain at 95-25-50-25 or in the case of not maximum gain at 85-50/75-50-25.
    I have to tell you that a lower gain helps a lot and you have less banging ... anyway these are my generic tables to set in the game, but a lot depends on how you have set your base at the driver or software level of your wheel. ;)

    I don't know if is possible what you're asking in terms of the wheels, but certainly a right combination of features could simulate the sensation better ... we'll see as soon as we get to the final version of the game after the release of version 1.6 ... in the meantime Soon I will publish my files updated to version 1.5.9.x

    Edit: Maybe I have already found something among the codes of the old Karsten files, it doesn't seem like a reduction in damping (as you define it), but this function (or additional code) inserts into the construction of the wheels (resistance + stretch) a deformation element typical of hardness that depends on the speed, the rotation of the steering and the amount of slip (or grip), it could be what you are looking for, but first I should test it, then it should work and finally it should match what you describe ... I can't now I'm exhausted physically, but tomorrow or the day after if it works I'll post you a test file... and then we'll decide what to do. ;)

    Ok I hope I haven't made any typing errors, I made a small change to the code of the latest file published in version 1.5.7.x NDef_Imm and I made the necessary changes for the anomalies in the acceleration ... having done this I realigned all the previous files with the changes that had occurred in the meantime to the last ... I delete the Initial Immersive file as it is redundant and therefore we keep 3 different files for now:

    ATMOS 1.5.9.x BASE
    ATMOS 1.5.9.x BASE + Partial Old_D_raw
    ATMOS 1.5.9.x BASE + Partial NDef_imm


    All files are tested on last AMS 1.5.6 and AMS Beta 1.5.9.x.... a good evening everyone!!

    EDIT:
    @ricxx @john Ellis I think you can replace these 3 files with the previous ones ;)

    Thanks for the head's up; I added your new 3 files (Nos 0, 1, & 3) to v2.86 and moved the previous 4-file series into a new Z-Appendix folder.

    It is practically impossible to make recommendations for game settings and basic settings for all files. Basic Defaults or Customs all have completely different approaches and work differently. Added to this are different hardware and, ultimately, personal taste. What good does it do for a user to receive recommendations that differ by 50% or even more? I think every user should test it for themselves and decide based on their personal taste. However, it is possible to give very precise recommendations for individual custom files with little deviation. Personally, I have this range very limited and tried to tailor it exactly to my files. For this reason, I don't like to give custom file recommendations for changes. It can completely change the file and also the interaction with the in-game and base settings
