"SIM WARS: INTO THE REIZAVERSE"

The episode starts with Renato Simioni going to work, but he finds out that all of his employees have been swapped for generation Z young adults whose only interests are Fortnite, Valorant and Dead by Daylight. He soon finds out that he's no longer CEO of Reiza, which has been renamed to Reizabras, because hierarchy is a form of discrimination, therefore everybody is CEO now.
By the time he gets to his office (which is a community office now) he finds out that Automobilista 2 no longer exists. Now there's only AutoMOBAlista, a free2play multiplayer FPS whose income revolves mainly around creating battle passes and selling cosmetics and dancing moves. And money from the government.
One of the CEOs walks into the office asking if Simioni could join him and other CEOs to dance for a TikTok video.

Renato wakes up screaming. His mother rushes into his room. He tells her about his nightmare and she calms and conforts him, saying that it was only a bad dream and that such a thing could never happen. She kisses him goodnight, but before she leaves Renato asks her to see if there's a gen Z under his bed.

Meanwhile, in Earth-13, another version of Renato also wakes up screaming after having a nightmare. He/him tells his progenitor about his dream. He went to work as usual, but he finds out that his company have been privatized and that now he needs to meet targets to avoid being fired.
His progenitor says "well, that's cringe" and comforts him until he sleeps again.

 

There already is. It's called "public open servers". There's one in special called "Corrida Maluca" (Wacky Races). It's always 5 laps with GT3s. No quali. No damage. No rules. Only blood and half of the grid disconnecting before the end of lap 1.

I've been racing around Road America for fun before the IMSA race this weekend... do we think there is a chance it might get re-paved in game just like it has been in real life?

 

I did the same 2 days ago with the Porsche 963, a 130 minutes race, but around 80 minutes i had an Earl Bamber moment and got too close when passing a GT3 and spun right into the wall and my race ended

 

Any hope of a working flag system in the next update something akin to ACC , LMU ?
I had another big smash this time on the Conrod straight Bathurst because of a stricken ai Porsche under no flag.

They really need to make them more consistent before introducing the marshals, I can count on one hand the times I have seen the yellow flag prompt appear when there is a crash, you can sometimes see the yellow flag on the minimap, but almost never the prompt. Double yellows and safety car situations work fine, so it's quite a mystery why normal yellows are so elusive. It might be an issue with the ME as both Project Cars games had the same almost extinct yellow flags.

Plus, if/when they manage to get them appear correctly there's the issue of calibrating the AI, plus the penalties for not adhering to them. So something that might seem 'simple" enough, appears to be quite complicated to introduce.

 

Just having them visually there will already be a good advancement. It don't have to work with AI out of the box. In fact, the only thing I can think for the AI is that they won't overtake in the yellow flag zone. They won't be slowing down unless a Le Mans style slow zone is going to be enforced.

 

Also they overtake you at the beginning of the race, almost at the end of the warmup lap...

 

Trackside marshals would greatly add to the immersion factor! I remember those poor fellas removing retired cars in GP2
