I really enjoy how you can set up an endless amounts of championships in RRE. I really like career mode and hope AMS2 takes some of what RRE does when Reiza finally reworks theirs.

Much more fun and varied than ACC. If the performance gets back how playable it once was, I'm back. It's often a great break from AMS2 now and again.

 

It.... It does VR. But be warned it will literally do non-consensual stuff to your CPU, while your GPU actually cools the room. It is NOT in the least bit optimized for VR.
If you have a fairly recent chip you'll probably be fine. I run a 13700k and I'm back to 4k monitor because I just wasn't convinced and I found myself faffing about with graphics settings the whole time without it really doing much.
RRE is maybe the perfect example of just use trackIR instead.
What I am excited about is the mid-90s DTM and graphics overhaul arriving shortly.
That'll certainly get me back in for a bit.

I want to play the game and not with its options.
The best example of this is AC. Really great mods from Ilja, but who the hell should bother with the options?

When you arrive home after work with heavy and tired bones, you want to OutOfTheBox. I love FWD and LFS is actually fantastic for it, but even then the VR image jerks despite excellent performance. 3D mirror or not.

No, the only product in VR with solid performance and without a NASA data center is the Madness Engine. AMS2 is apparently the king in the ring on this point. And I won’t get into a car without VR anymore.

So lets say in about one month we will get 1.6
What will be the first combo which you will try and why?
Mine would be F3 on Spielberg because I love slower open wheel cars and the track is short.
Then Lmdh and all the new dlc and non dlc cars on Road Atlanta.

If we get IMSA content then there has to be AI driver swaps because in real life there are only 10 hypercars shared by 20 drivers.
There has to be a fix on the 31 cars limit because many IMSA races like Daytona and Sebring have 50+ cars on track.

 

I really hope they give us the option to increase grid size , Sometimes it can feel like you’re on a private track day especially Le Man and Nordschleife.

 

My personal theory is, that AMS2 will never be on par with ACC popularity as long as they don´t introduce driver swaps for MP. I don´t know whether this will ever be possible with the Madness Engine though.
