I would boycott AMS2 if Reiza decides to add a CyberTruck

Musk's X suspended in Brazil after disinformation row

"people or businesses using means such as VPNs (virtual private network) to access the platform could be fined R$50,000 (£6,700)."

wow. Talk about crazy over the top censorship. Even Russia or China don't do that.

I find it very hard to believe the vpn fine will be enforced, but yeah, its pretty crazy. But its nice to see Musk angry.

I found it such a strange decision to add the Alpine, however a welcome one. I suppose I could sub it in for the Acura since they are both Dallara:whistle:

We in Russia have been using a VPN for a long time, it is an indispensable thing for us now. Many social networks are blocked, but that doesn't stop us...
    Respect Elon Musk...
We are waiting for v1.6, from Russia with love:p

If you spell Oreca as "Dallara", then yes.

Just slap an Acura paintjob on it haha they kinda look similar anyway. They are both Oreca, Cadillac and BMW are Dallara.
I'm sure Acura is not out of the plans.

    I told @Racinglegend1234 , slippery road ahead.
If others can put him down, I'll say Elon Musk has done much for this world with Tesla, Space X and such.
I don't have to agree with his political views, because here we debate AMS2 (which is car related stuff). But politics is what is been dragged to this thread.

    Admin intervention required?

The biggest achievemet by Tesla was ruining car interiors for everyone else haha. I'll never get used to the minimalism and that TV slapped on the console.

This whole thing is like watching two popular drivers who you absolutely hate crashing into eachother. Everyone wants you to have an opinion but frankly I can't bring myself to care, I can barely bring myself to care about American politics, let alone international. It's an exhausting hot-take factory where people argue with eachother and it goes no where. Frankly I don't even see why this should be discussed in any sort of length here outside of "what should Reiza do now?" Because said conversations are like going into a mine-field. We don't need any of that bull*****t here.

Care about your life, your community, your friends, and your family first. If this does directly effect you, then there are better places to voice your opinion than an AMS 2 forum thread.

Politics in social media will ruin your mental health, you get the temporary satisfaction of "being right" at the cost of dumb people making you mad and political pundits (both old AND new media) making you scared. Delete your twitter, delete your reddit, delete your Facebook/Instagram if you are lucky enough to be able to do so. If you need a community then you have one right here, @Racinglegend1234 runs an Unofficial AMS 2 discord server that could use more activity.

My problem with this is that innocent people's lives are altered as collateral damage without any consideration just to protect the interests of the political elite. Its just utterly disgusting. Sure, twitter is not a life necessity, but access to all other information on Twitter is also blocked, which should be a basic human right. Moreover VPN's are also removed. What's next? - this is a rhetorical question. It isn't a call to continue on this off topic.

    Agree :D.
But the industry was so affraid to loose sells that even copied the ugly car interior.

    @Marc Collins
What are you're head movement settings?

It's a tricky one, whatever personal opinions I have to acknowledge there are two sides.

Something treated as a neutral communication platform being bought and used as a blatant political vehicle on one hand - same question about how far is too far? By acknowledging that Twitter is a private entity suggests it isn't a human right, but acknowledges that it's a private company that will come with rules, responsibilities and restrictions in various jurisdictions. Just the same as VW got fined for lying to its customers (and many other examples of that), why is this different (even if it seems very aggressive as a first step)?

    Same rhetorical question.

Please, please Renato, it's the last day of August, please can we have a quick update of sorts, even if just a one paragraph 'still on track' or 'working out a new schedule'. Get the thread back on track!
