Guys, guys, guys. No politics here. For politics, discussion, change of views, etc I advice to groupup on skype, teams, zoom, etc and discuss there. This is not the place to be, nor are fora or websites good media for that. Now boot up AMS2 and have fun racing, guys!:cool:

Thank you for saying my point better than I could. There is a time and a place for everything, and when it comes to politics the AMS 2 forums is never the place.

Bananarama knew things back in 1983.
"Hot summer streets and the pavements are burning
    I sit around
Trying to smile but the air is so heavy and dry
Strange voices are sayin' (what did they say?)
    Things I can't understand
It's too close for comfort, this heat has got right out of hand" Cruel Summer ;-)

Don't side with censors, that's always the wrong side to be on.

I'll censor my opinion on the subject and my opinion about musk. The thread already derailed enough.

Shame Ferrari is so strict about licensing. The 296 is a beautiful car.

Thank you for this post! I downloaded Lossless Scaling and spent a bunch of time learning about how it works, how to use Rivatuner to lock a frame rate cap to use with LS’s frame generation, etc. One issue for me is I’m on a 21:9 3440x1440 screen. AMS2 does not seem to support custom resolutions. So I couldn’t find a compatible lower resolution to upscale from without creating bars on the sides. Too bad.

My system generally does pretty well with AMS2, but on some tracks (Road America for example) or night races on a lot of tracks my system will bog down to the high 40’s or low 50’s. So I tried frame gen and that is remarkable! 50fps becomes 100fps and still looks great.

I have a question for you. Do you feel any input latency? I notice it a little on AMS2 with LS activated, but barely.

Oddly though, on LMU the Lossless Scaling software doesn’t work well for me at all. It causes some bugs, for example sometimes my shifting goes away temporarily, and the input lag is horrible in that game with LS activated. The idea for me was to be able to run multiclass racing on LMU with frame gen making it playable on my older system. It still isn’t…

But on AMS2, Lossless Scaling works amazingly well. I didn’t try the scaling, only the frame generation. I locked the frame rate lower and used LS to multiply the FPS and it just works like a charm. No detectable bugs, and if there is any input latency caused by LS, then I don’t feel it makes the game unplayable. Maybe a little more connection to the car with it off.

i was wondering if you notice any input latency with LS activated in AMS2? Or then, why it would work seamlessly with AMS2 and AC (which I also tried it with), but not LMU?

    Cheers.
