Automobilista 2 May 2024 Development Update - The Road to V1.6 Pt1

It does introduce a very small amount of latency. Using LS in Sim racing I personally don't recognize it though. In a first person shooter or similar the small latency becomes more obvious. Seems some people are more susceptible to feeling it than others.

LS will work on whatever single image is in the screen (can turn a 30fps Youtube video into 120fps for example. Try it on old videos - its a bit trippy!) but the content must be the only thing on the screen (fps overlays from another program will make it freak out for example). There is no reason it wouldn't work on LMU.

To not derail this 1.6 update thread it maybe best to start a new Lossless Scaling specific thread over in the "AMS2 General Discussion" section and put questions there. Would be a good resource for people trying to squeeze more FPS from their hardware.

I just saw the end of the F3 race and it was EPIC. Winning the championship in the last corner of the last lap is INSANE! He’s also Italian so it’s even better

 

For me the one thing that I'm hoping for more than anything in 1.6 is an option to have live track progression locked too real-time regardless of time progression.
I don't even know if this would be possible tbh but can only hope.

 

My Wishes are:
Save the Race at any Time
Crashed Cars stay on Track longer
Bigger Grids with at least 40 cars on Endurance Tracks like Le Mans ,Nordschleife etc
A free camera that would be really nice.

I hope they do it in the next 7 hours because i don't wanna take my eyes off COTA race and race will begin in 7 hours.
