To be honest - if this is the new GUI, then I'm disappointed. I would have also liked a new HUD in the style of PC2. The look is much cleaner there. In the end, of course, it comes down to the gameplay, but I personally would prefer less red on the buttons

 

Well the guy sure is showcasing that the physics are less forgiving haha

 

There's no snow or snow tyres in 1.6.

He didn't show all of the new UI, only 1 page.

 

Streamer has been defeated by AMS2.
Imagine what it could be with a competent driver like Crimson that know what to showcase instead.

I have to say the UI in the menus unfortunately doesn't look as good as the current one (aside from the font change), there seems to be a lot of inconsistencies with spacing and alignment, and overall it lacks a cohesive and strong theme that stays present between different layouts. It reminds me a lot of base game Assetto Corsa, more function over form in general, but it still doesn't have that modern feel to it that can be found in many other new racing titles. I'm not sure if it's still a WIP, but regardless, I believe there are many aspects that could still use some work in that regard.

 

Reiza, maybe get somebody professional to showcase your updates, that livestream was an embarrassment.

 

Like it, much cleaner and modern. I do hope the controller navigation with a wheel has been improved though.

Hud is not finished, thats why there is the old one currently

 

With all due respect to the streamer... I've been fairly disappointed in the stream so far, not exactly what I'd do to show off the 1.6 update, wish he focused more on the IMSA content instead of immediately switching to F1 stuff

 

The A.I looked quite bad in the F1 cars imo unable to overtake down a massive straight at Hockenenheim, plus the hyper cars at Road Atlanta behind the gt3 still seem to hesitate while passing them hopefully this is from an older build or just a problem at these tracks.

 

Lets have a look at some future content i guess.
Maybe that track is also coming who knows

 

I like that it shows more information without having to go into more submenus.

 

(I mean this in the best way, to be clear )
