We really need Mugello in AMS2, it’s one of my favourite tracks.

You will likely have to delete the app data folder, or part of it.

Edit: Sorry, I'm an idiot. I forgot the AMS2 folder was inside the Documents folder.

 

RF2's version of Sebring is the benchmark for me.

 

And lmh ?

 

I think only GT7 and LMU have LMH cars. I think what you’re thinking of is LMDh and LMU is probably the benchmark in terms of all the available options

 

The Lambo is an LMH, not? And we will see what will happen with LMU depending who will buy them.

After reading both of your posts, I thought to myself, Why not try it as well? I'm using Default+ already. I did as you suggested, turned off all kinds of dampening in my wheelbase software (which were pretty low anyway), and just played with the AMS2 ffb sliders, especially with the dampening slider. And oh my, I didn't realize how much more detail AMS2 ffb has and how much I filtered out with the wheelbase settings! It's way better and much more detailed now IMO. Thank you so much for this tip.

 

You are most welcome. This same feedback every time I post something similar is why I keep doing it.

Not that we officially care about anything but AMS 2 here, but it often also helps other sims feel better, too

 

This seems enough of a confirmation to me. There ain't another track with winners banners over the garages

I feel I should thank you also , I tried your suggestion and have tuned out some of the stuff from my Simagic software and it feels really good with your suggestions ingame also.

A couple of pages back they insinuated that the team were going to take a break before release so personally I don't expect anything for a couple of weeks.

So Sebring is as officially confirmed as the Aston Martin GT3?

I will be trying your suggestions next time I get my wheel set up - but I was curious. What you describe is good for the in-game software... do you have advice for the wheelbase(hardware) settings? I tried the Fanatec website suggested ones for AMS2 for ages, then found a custom FFB file which had some suggestions that made it much better but it's hard to work out what the reference is. I have a CSL DD 8 Nm. Do you have any guiding principles for all the silly things like FEI and FOR and all these? Thank you in any case for your tips!

 

I agree.. I just did a 3h endurance simulating a 48h race with 4 different weathers..
Classes were the Caddy DPI + F-V10 G2 + GT3 + Stock Car '24
and the track was Tarumã with no chicane, so the DPI was completing a lap in less than a minute..
Man, what a blast was this race..

And I'm even doing a MyTeam Career of F.Ult G2 which is going amazingly interesting with the system I developed for it..

I'm excited for v1.6 but current AMS 2 is definitelly enjoyable..
