They have confiremed Historial Le mans Layouts.
-68-71 Layout of le mans makes the most sense cause of the Vintage Layout from PC2 can be improved maybe add a non-ford chicanes.
-89-96 Layout would cater to both GTPC and 90s GT1 cars it would include with or without the mulsanne chicanes. maybe throw in the bugatti layouts just for fun. (I had a blast racing the Fomrula Hi-Tech cars)

 

There is a COTA Mod track. I just wish Reiza would make it eaiser for modders to fix the AI and Track limits

True but Le Mans Ultimate had excluse rights to the 499P before the Studio was losing money and i guess they lost the excluse rights so iRacing took advantage

 

Hopefully see a Miura someday(gt classics category?) surprised to see no lambo classics or more historic content in the dlc. not complaining about the grp.A addition though.

 

Well this guy gushes about everything he drives, but I'm inclined to believe him this time based on all the feedback from the paddock.

Couple of things of concern, the AI didn't look great in traffic and was a bit inconsistent in some parts of the track, but we've been warned to expect things to improve so fair enough. Also in a one hour race the GTPs would have had to pit for "energy" so maybe a menu setting?

 

He did say the offical release is gonna be much different then the Release canidate plus i expect plently of Bug fixes and patches post launch

No. They had exclusive rights to the championship. Not the cars within the championships. Proof is that most of the cars in LMU are available in other sims

 

And Iracing is able to pull stuff like that off specifically because of their place as "top dogs" in the simracing landscape. Reiza don't have the pull to do that, things may change in the next few years but until that change actually happens I don't see notoriously difficult to work with brands like Ferrari or Toyota wanting to play ball with Reiza.

Yes indeed! I am fully intending to restart video creation once I have everything set up. It should be around the end of the month.

 

I don't think they look bad in traffic, quite aggressive but prone to getting boxed in - it's got to be the hardest thing to programme into a racing game AI though, weaving through traffic - has any game successfully pulled that off?
