Colors are influenced by your eye and by the peripheral, unless you use professional tools you cannot talk about color... and this applies to every peripheral that has its own light source and not by reflection. To tell the truth, even physical surfaces suffer from metamerism,
phenomenon whereby the same subject illuminated with the light of the sun or a neon light will make you see different colors.
This is why everyone sets their monitor (or other peripheral) differently from others.
For example, in AMS2 I lowered the saturation to 0.9 because it was too strong but it depends on my VR,
on another VR or another PC it might be different...

Out of curiosity: How did you adjust saturation?

I wouldn't say it looks orange. Ams2 is maybe a bit more saturated than RR, but saturation is something that's completely up to the user to adjust it for his screen to fit his particular preference

this is the problem, if you see it orange it doesn't mean that others see it like you, have you ever noticed how different the TVs on display in a shopping center are?? Did you know that in some cases they set them chromatically wrong to sell certain models?
If you see too much orange I would start by removing at least a little of the R channel and then play with all three RGB channels until you get the result you want.

I lowered the saturation in the Pimax settings

For me, AMS2 does not look orange. 1.6 is a bit more muted and realistic looking IMO and generally I'd put at the top of the VR tree compared to anything else out there, including LMU ( which is not yet finished of course, so its not fair to compare it ).

Agreed, but which video is that a snip from? If it’s one of the really early videos from a few years back, things are definitely different now.

I guess my question is.. has the mid game multiplayer glitching stopped. for V1.6??
we have a few racers in our group who seem to get get lags and glitches which ultimately ruins the session.. We have tried multiple things and tried exact setup to those who's isn't glitching and still few racers still persistent glitching. And between us we know enough to know something ain't correct. is there a direct fix for this or is it pot luck..?
    many thanks in advance

as you have been told, sunrise and sunset are always displayed with very warm colors, on yellow-orange and this is true for games but also in photography ... try to adjust your TV or monitor paying particular attention to setting the white well, try to take a real white reference and that your light is neutral (not warm at 6500k but around 5000-5500k the lamps always have an indication) and then calibrate the device close to that white. the orange or yellow cast is given by an incorrect white.

if it's a monitor you can find someone who has a spectrophotometer and suitable software and have it calibrated but almost certainly you won't like the result if you want strong and saturated colors.

Watch the LFM multiplayer test video and judge for yourself because it's the best representation publically available of the multiplayer in 1.6. Better to watch 20-30 minutes of uncut gameplay and make your own judgment then just taking our (PC members) word for it

Make sure everyone has UDP turned off ingame, in settings\system turn UDP frequency to off, having this enabled can cause all sorts of issues.
other than that, if you have the ingame rating system turned on for the server this can also be a cause of issues.

If you mean big stutters those are often related to the pit crew of other competitors being created by the game when they enter pit lane. It is better to set the pit crew details to "player only" so that it will not stutter big time for every competitor heading to the pits
