Renato don’t listen to all the physic complaints. The update look amazing. I didn’t see any bugs in all the previews. If you want you can release 1.6 maybe friday 15 november 2024?? And if you really need to make more final touches, I have no problem if you make some ajustment after 1.6 release.

Ok so our fundamental opinions are the same we're now just arguing finer details
    That's not a bad thing ❤️
Set up can be used to fix anything in mikes video and again I'll point out tight street circuit in slippy conditions on slicks. 1.5 GT3 has its flaws that you pointed out but I was of the opinion we were analysing 1.6.
All good though brother. As I've said a few times I think we just all need to drive 1.6 before we pass judgement on the GT3's videos are good fun but rarely tell a full story

The point is that you don't even know that you do need to dial anything out, because you don't know it's even an issue. No one can have a discussion about it, because most people haven't driven 1.6, which would be required to even determine if it even needs to be discussed. Go watch Nil's video on 1.6 if you're really worried about it, he addressed this and said it doesn't exist anymore, insofar as getting around quickly. Trust me, if it's still there, I'll be right there with you in being irritated, but currently, we can't even address it, because we haven't experienced it for ourselves.

Also, hopefully it doesn't come off as me being aggressive to you, but I've seen some pretty ridiculous comments on these videos, and most of them are just baseless. I'm as pessimistic as anybody, but people are jumping to a lot of conclusions before this thing's even out.

Either I skimmed past it or no one's pointed it out, but with Mike/604's video with the 1hr at Sebring, I noticed at 16:31 and 17:05 that the GT3 AI fell into its old behavior of "stick perfectly single file" for a corner or two.

With the first instance (16:31), the Porsche could've passed the BMW, but instead, the Porsche fell in line and rear ended it a bit under braking.

The second instance at 17:05 with the Lambo, BMW, and Porsche being in a perfect line through corner entry and practiclly bumper-to-bumper is... weird.

It looks like it's occurring less than before, but I'm hoping that'll be adjusted in the meantime? It's a shame to see the AI still goes bumper-to-bumper like that, following perfectly in the tire tracks of the car ahead.

And yet Neil's video seemed to suggest that TC of 1 was still too aggressive.

TC is too strong. Great, you guys just delayed the update for at least another week.

    Yeah, Nils complain about it (too strong);
Mike bother me running with it at 6 on both vídeos...

Yet, this second video had some nice and realistics skips/slides of cold tires on concrete.

If there are any adjustments coming, it shouldn't be of a worry of it slowing down the process guys. We're always open for (constructive) feedback and if it turns out to be agreed on then steps will taken to improve it. :)

I don't see the update being delayed because of the TC being too strong, especially if it's one of those things that's a tough cookie to crack which seems to be the case considering how long this criticism has been made. And in general saying people are causing the update to be "delayed" by criticizing issues they've noticed just isn't the move tbh even if you're saying it in jest

I agree with the fact that 1st gear is a way too low choice and once the tires are hot and you are at speed downshifting to 1st is not necessary and accelerating in 1st together with relatively weak TC and bumpy track is not good. It is not a rewarding driving strategy.
Without revealing anything that was not already in the video from Mike I can go a good 2s+ faster within six laps from starting a practice from medium rubber on completely stock setup (proof below). Surely fast guys can do much better. This is not to bash him but rather to say that certainly he is driving to have fun while talking so probably not the most focused and sharp driving conduct obviously. And he is driving behind other cars in dirty air too which surely contributes. Plus a good bunch of the race is carried out on damp track with slicks.
There is of course a bit of control of the rear to be done in some corners but nothing of the magnitude of the video by using 2nd gear instead of 1st. Surely increased TC would help like Crimson said.

so TC at 1 is too strong (according to Nils) and TC at 6 is too weak (according to people watching 604's video).. Got it.. and I wish you luck fixing it to suit both cases.

Different cars, different tires, different aero, different torque deployment by the engine... Pretty sure TC isn't a single setting under the hood of Madness Engine for all classes ;)

Thank you. TC system is dialed in per car, not per game, so differences between vehicles can occur :)

Pretty sure the answer is yes (if you are sweeping the whole set of cars) :)
Another suggestion I can give while driving at Long Beach (for some reason even though I don't particularly like the track I seem to be quite competitive in every race I have participated to on that track) is to always try and pull the car in to an earlier apex especially on the 90 degrees corners (T1-4-5-6-8-9) as that seems to make for a much more stable rear when you try and power out of the corners, which I think is not done much in the video.
When I try to make the corner more "round" the exit is always much more problematic in that track especially

Just "bumping" TC actuation at lower speed is rather trivial luckily. :)

That is not the corner I would choose for a time to drink a swig of water!
