I mean, none of the videos show rain-dry transitions to see how the AI reacts, how they do in pitstop strategy, tire wear x16 to see how to tire and ia react...damage...nothing. They did show that they pass each other, and that's great. You can't tell me that driving improved when you're in a car and track that are new content. There's no comparison... but that's my point of view. Renato's video was ok. It showed a bit of the progress regarding what he refers to online and the new content. I'm more interested in the offline stuff.

 

Well AI is definitely a complex thing, but saying that the AI barely overtakes each other is definitely not true. There is a bunch of AI overtakes in the current live version, how much will of course depends on track and conditions, so you can't expect a lot of overtakes in a circuit like long beach. So I have no idea how much you play offline and which cars and so on, but I can assure you that the AI overtakes and fight back positions very often, either with the player or with other AI

 

Did you guys not watch Nils video? Lots of overreaction to a video here. Drive it yourself before getting all fired up saying it isn't fixed. But give it some time, cold tyres have a much bigger impact now and you will need a 2-3 laps before they are up to temp and grip is as it should be.
There is no way the driving is the same as 1.5, if you think it is after giving it a proper go, then you are are doing something wrong.

 

Yeah, if people don't feel any change, the issue is the spongy bit between seat and screen...

Hard one, but I would go with Endurance Pack, because you got more car classes LMDh + LMP2 + GT3 / GTD and I personally look forward for LMP2 class more than GT3 or LMDh.

 

Endurance pack definitely, I have no interest whatsoever in street cars, while I find all 5 cars of the endurance pack to be great additions and can not wait to drive them. Indeed I still haven't decided whether I will buy the Lamborghini pack

 

I chose the Lamborghini pack since my new favourite GT3 and LMDh car is a Lamborghini

 

I really can't choose between them, both have a car which alone would be worth it for me to buy the packs for, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo and the Oreca LMP2 cars are both worth the money imo

 

I'm not gonna lie, the fact that the SC63 is NOT part of the Endurance Pack Pt. 2 is annoying me more than it should.

My vote goes to Endurance Pack Pt. 2 nonetheless.

 

Why?

 

Endurance Pack by far, I'm interested in all 5 cars. The Lamborghini pack I'm only interested in 2 (and a half, if I can find decent competition for the Trofeo).

Whilst it's slightly frustrating as a buyer, I completely respect the reasons for it and won't hold that against Reiza if this approach leads to more potential manufacturers joining.

 

Because it's the only car I'm really interested in in the Lambo pack and it's an LMDH / GTP car which is my favourite class. Which means I'll have to buy the whole pack just for the SC63 although it would've fitted perfectly into the Endurance pack as well.

 

I can't put a reaction under my own post but I would also choose the Lamborghini Pack to get a new manufacturer for GT3 and LMDh (which I as a filthy casual mostly drive). By the way: Many beta testers speak very positively about the Super Trofeo Cup so I am excited for that too!

There are people here who seem a bit like Reiza fanboys but the majority will read and disagree if they think you are wrong.
Your opinion is as valid as everyone else's.

 

It would be nice to be able to buy cars individually, even if at a higher cost per car if you choose not to buy the packs.That is what S397 do with rf2.

Example for those that English may not be their first language.

10 cars for $10 in a pack. Price PER CAR $1

Car bought individually $1:50. Price PER car $1.50

Hence a higher cost PER car if you buy individually vs buying the pack.

 

Exactly. It's the first car a lot of people try when they jump in. Returning players will no doubt try the gt3s again and if they feel bad, they are gone after a few laps.

 

I really want this patch to be good but just from watching the published videos it looks like an incremental upgrade as opposed to the much flaunted 'game changer'. There's so much coping from the beta boys that I think this is going to be patch 1.5 again.

 

So you are saying you'd rather buy the BMW M Hybrid V8 for 15, rather than getting all three LMDh cars for 9 ? Sounds like you should work for iRacing .
