I may be misunderstanding you a little on this one and if so I apologise. But I respectfully disagree. In AMS2 in current format I can't in any car set braking to 100% pressure and brake at 100% pressure in any car.
I can use 100% of the pedal only if I reduce BP to quite low 60-70%
If I compare this to my formula Ford and the way we've put that together. I'm pressing that pedal as hard as I can (and usually praying it stops in time) until I start turning then if I'm applying too much pressure it will overload the tyre and start locking. Rarely am I locking up in a straight longitudinal scenario. If I'm applying lateral stress in to the longitudinal performance in essence turning... then I'm having to modulate. But that changes almost every lap as tyre wear and car and track conditions change.
I do think though. You and I or on the same page here just getting lost in translation :D and probably not the best forum to discuss as it's not really about the cars :D
More power to you though continue your passion man

I agree with you.....now in the winter months it really does look a bit gray there, but normally here in Germany we say "Green Hell" ;)

Mabix Video is really nice & not only shows how good the graphic update is, but that the driving also seems to be very nice.
I have to admit, that Mabix driving the Lambo GT3 seems almost the same than in the Video posted by Crimson, where we can see the real thing.
I‘m excited to drive the 1.6 update.

It breaks my heart to see those Cadillacs naked. I really hope WTR come up with something nice for the livery because losing that yellow 01... :( so sad

Since this is not the right place to keep this discussion going, I'll just leave two videos, I just prepared, of GT1 braking at Monza. Braking pressure is 100% in car setup and the HUD brake and clutch pedal are indicators of what's going on.

You want that 100% braking setting instantly lock tyres when fully pressed, at high speeds, like a road car without ABS at lower speeds? Trying to understand this discussion.

Yeah, Lower speed means lower downforce means lower grip means less adhesion friction means lower hysteresis friction means lower brake force needed. (Oh deep pipe of physics )
And some race car's suspension shows rasing up of front by lack of downforce during braking.

Your video is proving exactly the opposite of what you were saying: video 1 shows you can't turn in the car when tires are locked (see the steering wheel turning with no effect).
As to when the onset of lock-up happens I've had my fair share of discussions with developers exactly on the same corner. IMO it is not that you should be locking at higher speed (like it wrongly happens on RF2/LMU platform IMHO) but rather that you should be locking much closer to the peak longitudinal grip wherever it sits at any given speed. While the way the tire works now is that it will brake quite suboptimal but not grossly locking even appreciably after the peak of long. grip. And you can clearly see in this and many other corners that there is such a significant space where you brake hard, tires won't lock but the car understeers out of the best line which doesn't happen if you brake less.
But that is something you can only appreciate at medium to low speeds (4th-3rd gear corners the most) and doesn't detract from the fact that even in v1.5 you will not go faster by slamming onto the brakes quite the opposite: you need to learn to release the brakes even though there is no sign of lock-up in close sight.
Quite the opposite of what you were trying to prove though.

    @Ernesto_171 , @Ettore
If you want, go back and read what I wrote about AMS2 brakes. My video shows exactly what I described as been incorrect, from what I think I know about braking systems and technics, particularly on high downforce cars.
Both your arguments are from something I didn't say.

    Edited:
@Ernesto_171 Sorry, you question is more trying to understand the discussion. So, no, that's not what I meant. :)

OK if you say so. All I am saying is that this statement of yours is factually wrong already in v1.5

As well as all other hints in the conversation at being able to brake with 100% and get away with braking without locking and/or simultaneously making the corner.
The slide effect and braking distance elongation happen already well before locking already in v1.5.
Subject closed for me since this thread is about the new cars.

    Can you say more?

Otherwise this feels like nothing more than teasing folks without access.

I cannot, not in the Beta. I just go the steam page where it tells you when something changed with the beta...

What he's referring to is that a staging test happened, which is publicly available information on SteamDB. PC members also don't have access to these Staging Test builds
