There are multiple threads, for various different aspects of the sim (AI, physics, sound, UI, multiplayer, etc) along with more general threads (update discussion, wishlist/speculation, etc). And while I don't work internally with Reiza I'd have to disagree with how Marc worded what he said.

The general threads are indeed a bit of a fuster cluck, but the more specific threads more often than not stay on topic and provide some good discussions. Reiza have done imho a really good job of straightening out the chaos that came from so many new people joining at once.

I'll be honest here, I wish the frustration (whether it be at Reiza or other forum members) didn't deteriorate in the way I feel like it has. We're better than this, obviously beta members aren't gonna be exactly thrilled about someone claiming that some of us defend Reiza because of us paying to be a part of the Paddock Club (trust me... I don't defend Reiza because I'm in the Paddock Club, I have been defending them years before the PC opened back up). But I really dislike how Marc's comment makes what's going on in the Paddock Club look like a complete mess. It does a disservice to the work Renato and Co have put into turning the chaos that comes with a sudden massive influx of people into something that's more organized and productive and potentially opens the door for bad-actors to claim that the Paddock Club has been "mismanaged" when it really hasn't. You're not gonna see me or others go and randomly gush about their favorite band or how good a race was inside the update threads like you may here. Obviously improvements can be made, but I really hate the way it was characterized and can give those outside of the PC the complete wrong impression.

 

Hey folks, sorry for the confusion earlier today! The plan was always to have an LMU stream on Twitch only today, but something somewhere along the line didn't play ball and tried to get a YT stream up with old settings. Shouldn't have happened obviously, and we're trying to find out what exactly went wrong there.

It may seem like they're forgetting the public, but I don't think that is necessarily the case as intuition can be misleading at times. As much as I'd like to, can't really go much deeper than that so it's one of those things you sadly have to trust my word on (which if you don't, I don't necessarily blame you by any stretch)

The good news is that signs are still pointing to a release soon, especially with the staging tests for the release version of AMS 2 on both yesterday and Monday. If you want something more concrete than "soon" then there it is.

This forum has warmed up a lot of asses, I'm running for a marshmallow to roast them on this bonfire of righteous anger I think that with your efforts, you'll just clog up another forum thread, and sad, lonely simracers will have nowhere and no one to chat with... Seriously, why don't we gather this crusade in the lands of EA and break down the walls of tech support, consisting of bots? Why not voice all the complaints about, say, a rally simulator or an F1 simulator? Are you really satisfied with camera limitations or fictional physics, and what about the graphics in 2024? There is so much diversity in the world of sim racing, but you are angry that the update in AMC2 was delayed for another week or even a month? Maybe because this simulator is really worth it? I ask myself this question every time, and when the answer is "yes", I say to myself: "These guys know their stuff, and they are trying very hard." If this were not the case, you would get a "finished product" such as EA's creations and a robotic tech support forum where bots pretend to be concerned about your problems....
