    I've driven some Huracan ST in ACC in preparation and it made me so nostalgic after the gallardo supertrofeo.

    I really wish Lamgorghini stuck with AWD (as was the case with gallardo) with the Huracan too.

    A modern AWD GT car would be really unique in the sea of RWD machinery :) anyone else share the sentiment?

    To all those peeps who can't wait that V1.6 finally arrives I'd recommend to read the complete changelog first, maybe while downloading the update to get an idea of what and how much has changed. It should also inspire you to try out a few things if you don't know what to do first.

    Reiza could put out a statement something like:
    "Such is the nature of software development, that a date estimate we give you today might be out the window tomorrow - for example if an unforeseen issue is discovered that requires a lot of code to be refactored"

    They could then put out a poll saying: "Would you still like us to give you date estimates anyway, even though they are subject to large changes as described above?"

    I can guarantee you that the community would overwhelmingly vote 'Yes'.

    ...and the usual vocal minority who voted Yes in the poll. would still bitch and moan anyway, when dates move.

    Can a beta member please tell me this,
    Is the formula vee or formula junior close to the skip barber in AC/iracing/RF2 in 1.6?
    I love the low grip / easy to spin feel the skippie has in those games, vee+jr are close in 1.5 but still way too manageable, I'm hoping 1.6 makes them more punishing.

    You know they differ in the rear suspension architecture compared to the iracing ones, right?

    TL:DR With the typ of work Reiza is dealing with, it's hard to give good estimates and traditional methods of estimating something might not work at all.

    Humans are exceptionally bad estimating time. We've learned that the hard way in the software industry. I would like to offer some alternative models on how to give some project insights to customers/ users.

    1. You be transparent about the remaining work items. Like, we have 5 big and 2 small tasks left. You then maintain a basic status and the people can see for themselves what is worked on, done and still to do.

    2. You use historical data. Like, in the past it usually took us half a year completing 5 big and 2 small tasks.

    I have no experience in the game industry but when you are doing stuff that nobody has done before, like implementing tire hysterisis in the madness engine, traditional estimation methods do not work. You only see the full picture (problems, obstacles, etc.) while implementing the feature.

    None of those options are perfect, it's always a trade off. But all of them require effort, time and money.

    Since this post is brutal off topic, no hard feelings from my side when it might be deleted.

    The F-Vee in 1.5 is too punishing relative to real life and the F-Trainers were too "slidey." They are both significantly closer to realistic in 1.6. I have driven an F-2000 extensively in real life (see my avatar...that's actually me), which is basically a Formula Ford with a bigger engine and wings that don't do much until at very high speeds. If you think either of those cars is not punishing enough in 1.5 then you are firmly in the "video game" camp and will likely be disappointed with the updates in 1.6. Those interested in authenticity should be well pleased.

    A better comparison is the formula vee in ams1.
    Very easy to push and spin

    Im just a guy who wants something in ams2 that feels like the skippie (AC) / fvee (ams1).

    I think it's more the catchability of most if not every slip with the current vee compared to the one in ams1. I don't know what these cars feel like irl and I will never drive one but I know I like a certain feel in Sims, I don't care what shape or name it comes in.

    So glad to hear b/c these are the cars I want to drive to learn unfamiliar circuits. I've always struggled w the F-Vee and the Trainers. Will changes to F-Jr be similar?

    Personally, I love how the Formula Junior handles in 1.5. You can hang the rear out in a nice controlled fashion. It feels fantastic around Monaco. I hope it doesnt change too much if I am honest. I dont want it to handle like some car that it isn't. This is from someone who loved the skippy in rf2 btw.

    Yes, I also find these the perfect cars to learn a new circuit. Fantastic visibility from the cockpit, not too much power, but enough speed to make it interesting.

    The F-Junior is a different beast thanks to its low-grip, skinny, 1960's bias ply tires. Requires much more effort to keep it between the white lines compared to the successors on modern tires.

    That, plus what seems like limitless revs, makes it so much fun. The only practical way to drive them is sideways. Of course, can only do so many laps in that fashion.

    Honest answer, it's okay to give an estimated time and end up missing it because of development reasons. Game development is difficult, I can entirely understand that. However, when it's not addressed by the person who gave the time estimate, and is casually mentioned without much apology, then I'm annoyed. It's one thing to have an internal estimate, but it's another to say that internal estimate publicly, and not expect people to be confused, annoyed, or frustrated when that time estimate isn't met. As an example, I can't go and say, "I'll meet you in 30 minutes," and then show up five hours later without some sort of explanation.

    Crimson has been doing fantastic by giving us answers as to what's going on. However, I do feel that the... overconfident(?) time estimates should be addressed by Renato himself, as he's the one who's been making those time estimates.

    Much like another post here has suggested (which I can't find at the moment, but is somewhere in this thread), something like a, "We apologize for not meeting our expected time estimates, and have X large projects and Y small projects to work on. We will provide a more accurate estimate of a blog update when we're sure we can deliver on that promise" would be fantastic.

    Genuine question regarding 1.6, if it can be answered, are there improvements to the free cam when it comes to the photo mode? I remember at some tracks it always got stuck in some of the most open areas of a track, as if there was a collision box somewhere that wasn't shared between the camera and cars. A bonus would also be removing the free camera limit to a certain distance of the player car. I'd love to explore everything!

    Question for the club members (yes, another one... :D)
    Are there any changes in the showroom? Like some option to make easier the previews for the skin packs.
    And, talking about that, with the new UI the liveries previews are still the same (side pictures)?
