Featured Automobilista 2 V1.6 Development Update - The New Cars

mostly Raceroom, honestly. With AMS2 1.5 having the leaderboards down currently there really isn’t much for me at the moment.
I’m tempted to buy the raceroom DTM2024 pack, but I’m hoping 1.6 releases before Black Friday, or my money is likely going to Raceroom (assuming they have a sale as usual ) , amd AMS2 DLC will have it wait.

I really prefer AMS2 though, the championships are a lot better and have better presentation, the game runs better for me, and the content is a lot more interesting, so I am REALLY fighting the urge to buy raceroom stuff lol.

Those AMS2 Super Trofeo’s really interest me in the Lambo pack, so here’s to hoping we can drive them soon!

 

RRE has free access to all content right now, however no sale on packs so I guess that´s a cheap way of passing time until 1.6.

Lol I know the feeling, my cash is ready to go for AMS2, I'll only get something while it's on sale right now

 

I'm really looking forward to it. I still remember the Gears Of War 2 commercial with the Mad World song playing in the background. Still give me goosebumps.

 

But still no good triple screen support. (without Nvidia surround)

 

Actually, there is a way to run RR with triples (Non-Surround). I haven't tried it yet but, seems fairly simple. Same for AC / ACC also. See videos online for details.

 

I was just playing RRRE last night and didn't see anything like this, but yep, it looks like the black friday sale and free all access both start today. $3 per car on the DTM 2024 stuff, sounds good to me! I'm going to try and keep the cost down so i can still justify the AMS2 cars + tracks, but, we shall see.....

 

I am finally trying to get Simulator Controller up and running with good synth voices from Google and Azure and with all those nice AI features like driving coach.

I have a question about the new update.

In the current public version of the sim, i can not fiddle with the pit menu while driving in VR without drifting to the left and making a Dmand shaped hole in the barrier.

Will the new update allow us to move that pit menu around like we can do with other HUD objects?

 

Bought a PS5 Pro and I just started my first playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3, brilliant game ! I'll need maybe 200 hours to finish so I don't mind that much if the update 1.6 won't release this month .

 

Well I tried ll sorts of “tips and tricks” but non are working for me.

 

While my tests have not included Rallycross, others have reported in the beta forum the much-improved driving, physics, and AI calibration.

 

Its been 10 days since this Dev log updated and jesus 62 pages and counting.
1.6 is slowly becoming the Duke Nukem Forever of sim racing...

 

No really ?!!!!! I’ve never thought reiza will delay at this point the update !!! I’m shocking lol

 

I have a shameful amount of hours in BG3 but never finished it, restartitis and failed honour modes haha, I just got to act 3 in my current playthrough, I think this time is the charm.
