What did Renato meant by "i don´t think anyone will still be here throwing your proverbial cards into the proverbial hat by this time next week." ?
Update? New dev log? Realase date?

Thanks, but it really doesnt work with the R5, I have to lower the road sensivity to 5 to be able to drive, otherwise its too violent.

    Video below with your settings.

I can manage with the settings I use but it behaves very similarly, just in a less violent manageable way.

First I appologised few times for off topic conversations becouse this thread is not about comparison of sim titles and ffb in them.
Second, if I don't like AMS I wouldn't be here. I am backer and love both AMS 1 and 2.
Third, I think it's ok to have different perspective and others should respect that. I feel speeaking like a fan boy is not really productive, also attacking others with conclusions about what they know and they not.
I am sim racing for more than 12 years now and belive me I know how to properly set wheel base and in game settings.
I will leave this here and will not reply on this topic any more.

Wow, ok that looks way worse than what have.. I know Moza has had oscilations problems for years, I've seen it in a couple of reviews of the r12, and I know they have the Natural intertia setting that somewhat corrects it (altough I personaly hate it), but even when I had the R5 I never experienced this bad I think

People in here notice when Renato spends >0.5 above average weekly minutes online in the forums. So yes, they'll notice when the TT boards are deleted. :)

10 Euros/Dollars for each car pack and 15 Euros/Dollars for the 3 Tracks, so overall 35 Euros

Are you using the new firmware (with the new Natural Inertia)?
For me 200-250% will stop oscillations (although my new FullFFB v20 is somehow worst in that regard, more like Default+).

Yes, and if anyone is experiencing something like this, there is a problem with the wheel/settings.

In the case of MOZA, as you mentioned, firmware or other fixes have been released to address this known problem with their own wheels.

In a general case for DD wheels, most people make the mistake of thinking that Damping in the game is a bad thing, so they turn it to 0 or extremely low. Instead, generic wheelbase damping should be lowered to the absolute minimum (just enough to replicate some mechanical resistance instead of a completely freewheeling electrical motor) and then use the in-game Damping to properly control the dynamism coming from the sim.

But, please, if you have any sort of extreme oscillations investigate how to properly configure your wheel base and the sliders in AMS 2. I have written about a dozen longs posts about the AMS 2 sliders (you can search if you missed them). The Default+ FFB is truly outstanding if you can manage to set-up your system properly. And, as I always remind, every other sim you use will also benefit from the changes to your wheel base settings. The goal is to feel what the devs have designed and what the physics engine of the sim is able to produce. Resist the urge to use/fiddle with a bunch of generic tuning sliders that more often than not distort what games are trying to communicate.

Once you feel what you are supposed to be feeling, then don't hesitate to adjust on the wheel base if you are not happy. But doing it the other way around is just backwards.

Yup, I have tried everything both within the game and with pit house and the only thing that sort of works is reducing the road feel to 1, but then the FFB feels awful.

So I have just resigned myself to soldier on and simply not let go of the wheel, the FFB is fine and extremely good so long as I don't ease too much my handle on the wheel. Will definitely buy another brand when I decide to upgrade as the main culprit is definitely the wheelbase.

Are you using the old Formula Trainer? - I find the same thing, the shaking goes away when you get up to speed!

Reduce natural inertia, and increase damping in game first and maybe a little in Pithouse.
