Automobilista 2 V1.6 Development Update - The New Cars

Well the VR in rf2 was ok, so I feel like LMU should be ok aswell

 

He may not be late but he only shows up once in a year

 

This is not my experience, VR looks incredible in LMU I mentioned this days or weeks ago in one of these waiting threads.
Which headset are you using?
I use OpenXR, 4148x3556 per eye locked at 90 FPS.

Edit: I would add, there are some circumstances when the fps drops to as low as 75fps, like LeMans at night in the rain. But the rest of the time its great. Also try to run in sunlight as theres no car shadows in overcast atm.
I also only drive in VR, just uninstalled Rennsport after they borked VR 2 updates ago and now they are gonna remove it until after early access.

As mentioned I found the opposite. VR doesn’t look great. I even when back to try it again, after we conversed before. But on my 4090 and OG crystal. It looked quite plain and muddy.

From Racinglegend's video, it seems like he was expecting a RC of 1.6 today, so, I'm very confused on where any of that is coming from.
Edit to clarify: Seems like I'm still waking up, oops. "If this video comes out before Tuesday, then expect it on Tuesday" is what he said.

But I'm still hesitant to expect the actual 1.6 update this week.

I figure the latter of Renato's post just meant that we'll have another dev update this week, not an actual update to the game itself.

 

If it matters. the Autumn Steam sale starts tomorrow. I repeat, if it matters. Run with it.

 

Well, even us paddock club members don't know anything more than you all do at this point, so we will all need to wait and see
