Nah, where would the complaints go? And the disappointment that it took so long to achieve only this.

 

One question to backers, if I install beta, can I use it to play online when LFM start to work? Are they the same when 1.6 stable drops? I am backer and had AMS 2 beta in steam but don't know why I never managed to log into backers section of the forums, so I can't ask there. Thanks

no, beta and maingame use different dedicated servers

 

At this point formation lap for sure.

However, not sure if on Guaporé or the Nordschleife, and also starts are known to sometimes have to be aborted ^^

 

I just hope nobody does what Lando did in Brazil..

Well said! Maybe the true 1.6 experience are the AMS2 forum users we met along the way.

 

When I (re)read stuff like this - and some of this are things I probably have written at some point - I have to admit I get a little anxious XD It's my honest opinion, but I know not everyone agrees (some YT comments mainly where I've seen beta members who think the step is not big enough).

It's difficult to find the sweet spot between over- and underhyping, let's hope we at least didn't totally miss it.

Anyway I'd _heavily_ recommend people to try out 1.5 one last time before 1.6 comes out, pick any car, really abuse it and see what happens.

 

Exactly, and I’d add that I’ve stopped expecting anything and now I’m just sitting back with popcorn, enjoying how it all plays out.

 

It will definitely be interesting seeing everyone's reaction to it. I have no doubt there will be some that spend more time arguing about it than actually driving in it.

 

Absolutely and the videos from different creators will definitely be fun to watch, full of everything from excitement to disappointment. Having already spent hundreds of hours in AMS2, I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy many more hours experimenting with all kinds of car and track combinations, just like it’s a new game. It’s such an amazing time for sim racing!"

 

This! My recent testing has been on cars I couldn’t connect with before such as HyperCars, SuperCars, and Camaro SS. Be sure to try those car/track combos you wanted to like but struggled with in 1.5.
