Automobilista 2 V1.6 Development Update - The New Cars

Question... Will the GT3 cars be slowed down to IMSA standard? I only ask because doing a race in Daytona in a Porsche 911, I'm able to get the car to 290 kph, I feel like this way too much.

 

Switch the units to mph and it will seem much less.

 

GT3 cars go almost 300kph in Daytona irl

 

GT3 Gen 2 will be IMSA rules based

 

Hi, I only have the base game, but thinking about buying everything. But I'm abit lost with the bundles and passes. Which is the cheaper way to get everything??

I think it's the All-Inclusive bundle you're after.
I find it confusing too - thankfully bought the Paddock Club Membership when they were available so I don't need to think too hard

 

Just to keep the creative juices flowing I really must recommend this combo, Sigma P2, long beach in 1.5 still. Personally I feel it is almost everything I’m looking for, as good as any other sim!

 

Those LMP cars in VR. Life can be good.

And I leave a suggestion of a race I just did: GT-Open + GT3-Gen1 + GT4 in Interlagos 1976, you driving the Ultima GTR Race of the GT-Open class, underrated car from an underrated category IMO, shadowed by the more popular GT3. GT-Open has similar pace to GT3-Gen1, while the GT4 are just to overlap. Very fun 1 hour race, not easy not to crash

 

It's a cool car.
Unfortunately this is always the first thing that pops to mind when I hear Sigma.

 

New DLC must pay development and to be on sale would contradict supply/demand relation.

3h ago I did a race with P4. Great race... but I won, starting last, 120% AI (1 pitstop to change tyres) . I need new challanges (did you hear that v1.6?)

This combo should be a great test bed for v1.6 .

 

IKR. This forum is a hidden bonus to me. Despite the usual negative nannies, this is a great place to discuss the game we love. One thing I like about is that I can still feel part of the community when I'm away, not near my rig. I dont get that too many other places these days.

 

LOL, I'd do that test now but at 120% AI I'd start 1st and finish last. Oh, what the heck, I'll try it now...10L at 120% with a mandatory pit stop.

Update: @Joaquim Pereira Wow, that is a lively car. As expected, started 1 of 37 and hung on okay through first 5 laps, pitted in 8th. Coming out I was exhausted and couldn't hold the pace. Each lap falling further back and finished 22nd. Immediately lowered my AI strength after race.

 

Role play idea to keep yourself busy while you wait for 1.6

Race Setup:
- 20 minute race against AI at combo of your choice.
- 25 opponents
- Challenging AI difficulty setting
- Max Damage + Mechanical Damage
- Mandatory pit stop
- Starting last on the grid.

The role playing rules are:
- You get $200 for the first position gained
- That doubles for each subsequent position gained ($200, $400, $800 etc)
- You must finish the race to cash in
- A baby kitten is killed if you don't finish the race
- No restarts.

 

Why have there not been any non-german previews in the past week or two? Feel like a video from GP laps or maybe some other people would greatly boost the already huge hype train we have going for this update.

 

'76 Interlagos is an insane track. Was doing time trials there and it's very quick

 

Opala '86 at the old Interlagos is tire shredding fun.
