This game has been out for a while. The team is well past the debut of their creative baby, but being the good parents they are, these devs continue to nurture and support their creation. This game, to this day, is still getting new content after all these years.

 

And then we did this, and this and this and this.......

 

When I was on Steam, it says I already owned 7 of 10 DLC that was included in the All Inclusive Bundle and adjusted the price to be the cost of only the 3 new DLCs ($35ish) and gave the 15% off of that total which was around $29ish. Already bought, paid for, installed. Good times!

 

For me it worked with all three new DLC. Try again!

 

If this is true, can Reiza ask Gabe to make Half-Life 3?

 

You can no longer apply the 1.5 style of driving of drifting through corners.

Very easy to spin out if you overdrive, so i hope people will finally stop spamming how cars slide through corners because i just tried my 1.5 style of driving and i keep crashing out all the time.

is there a BOP applied?

 

I installed a lot of mods (only liveries and a few "real names"!) from former Racedepartment a long time ago. I still know that I didn't use any kind of mod manager, just did copy&paste the files into the game directory. Can anyone guide me how I can "uninstall" those liveries easily so that I have a "clean" start with 1.6-update, without having to uninstall and reinstall the whole game?

Can I simply delete this whole directory?:
....\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2\Vehicles\Textures\CustomLiveries\Overrides?
Or will I lose the default Reiza-liveries too?

Can I also delete this directory?:
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2\UserData
Or will I destroy something in the vanilla game?

Sorry for noob-question but I can't remember exactly how I installed those liveries and "real-name-mods" long time ago and do not have a lot of experience with modding-stuff...

Just a question related to custom championship. Is it intentional that the number of cars on tracks is still 32? Also are we able to apply presets to the custom championship? I guess what I am asking is am I able to recreate the imsa 2024 season in custom championship. So a championship with the cars from the imsa preset

If you want a clean start it’s better to just reinstall the game itself, unfortunately. The custom livery files are way less likely to give you problems than the built-in files from the old version. The AMS2 folder in Documents is more likely to cause trouble. Same with UserData, you might just want to install the update for NaMeS when it comes out soon.

the only change for custom liveries that could be annoying is that car previews are now slightly taller, but that’ll only mean that the old car previews will get stretched a little bit.

Reiza default liveries are in the game files themselves, you won’t lose them unless you uninstall the game.

I hope AMS2 gets the recognition it deservers now that LFM offers races for it, the first streams I am watching LFM seems to be working well!

 

Depends on your system specs. If you have 12GB ram or less it will only let you use 32 cars not 48

 

Championships are still limited to 32 cars, irrespective of hardware.
Hopefully it'll be corrected in the next hotfix or patch.

this masterpiece of motorsport simulation software is by far the greatest and most complete I have experienced in my 56 years of driving. i know of no more detailed force feedback. every lap drives differently with increasing tire wear and track changes. there has never been anything like it before.
You can be sure of my support for the next 5 years. At least
