Still corrupt update files, I guess I’ll try reinstalling now

 

GUYS PLEASE ADD VOICE CHAT LIKE PROXIMITY, AND SUM RANKS FOR US TO GRIND

 

Ranks already existed for years. Proximity chat ? You want to be lowering your windows and scream at your opponents while passing them ?
ALSO THERE IS NO NEED TO WRITE IN CAPS, THE TEXT IS EASIER TO READ WITHOUT IT TOO.

 

Any feedback about the FFB ?

I love the idea of relative AI difficulty for wet... Very elegant solution for something that I don't think can be solved differently, as different players have different level confidence in wet.

All DLCs purchased, really looking forward to this one

I think it should be fine to just delete the applicable folders (overrides, custom AI etc), then run 'verify' on steam? That's what I'm intending to do, anyway, if it goes wrong I'll update

Things like paints should still work for the most part, though they look out of perspective in the new UI. Long as mods are uninstalled from content manager too, of course.

 

Anyone else not able to update? I downloaded the update, immediately after that Steam starts verifying, takes half an hour and then tells me update failed because of "damaged update files".
Didn't have mods installed before, booted up steam again already but this keeps on happening. Any ideas how to fix this or will I have to do a full reinstall?

 

They still can't fix a simple setting when i change from metric to imperial,so i can change the fuel from liters to gallons. And i asked about this back at the first of the year.

 

This isn't a joke.
It takes me longer than 6 months to read this, to understand this, to admire this in the game. And then I need another 6 months to find credible compliments!

I mean the one when you're in the vehicle setup screen????
undriveable for me at first!!! I didn't do a lap!!!
Unfortunately, I've already bought all the DLC's,
I was hoping the UI would be more “technical”, now it looks more like that
a big step towards "arcade", first of all I mean purely visually,
Unfortunately I can't say anything about driving yet.

It will be several hours before I get home to do the update etc. Is it better to uninstall all of the mods you have to get a clean update or just leave them alone and the update should still do it's thing?
