Rob, do you have any news on the color bug on the modern helmets?

 

Hi friends! Do old skins work with 1.6 or do we need to use the new ones that moders are releasing? I had all the classic F1 skins but don´t know if they would work with the new update.

If it's just skins they should still work, the only thing with non-updated skins is that the previews in the menues will look a bit squashed since they're using a different format now.

Quick question regarding the Stockcar Omega.

Does anyone know what the correct override is for the interior window banner?
TEXTURE NAME="WINDSCREEN" seems to control the rear side window decals and transparency. It doesn't mention in the stockcar_omega_dist what the cockpit / interior texture is for the windscreen banner.

 

Just checked, it doesn't have one. I will get it added

 

Has anyone tried to do skins for the Lamborghini GT3 EVO 2? We have tried different things but it always shows completly carbon fiber.

 

Back on the tires brand lack, that in my opinion give a further touch of realism, i've checked all cars (without override, as it is in the game) and i think it would be nice to have the tire brand at least on Formula 3, Mini JCW, Porsche Cup and all the endurance Brazil (P1-2-3-4), other than Formula V10.
The brands are also missing on other cars, some modern like GT5, ARC Camaro, some other classic, in that case the choice is more understandable.

Hey Rob I figured out what had happened. I think I somehow mistakenly slightly increased the size of the base I was working on which caused it to warp. Once I corrected that to 4096x4096 it fit perfectly.

 

Naming has been fixed. Separate WINDOWS and BANNER overrides in place for next update/hotfix. I've added the rear window template to the DL for when it goes live.

Fix in place ready for the next hotfix.

 

I've done a lot of work for it, getting the right camera placement and everything is basically impossible, so there is a lot of PS work behind it to warp things in the right proportion and then reapply some logos etc. For the tyres, I've taken a screenshot of the original car from the menu, then cleaned it from the exterior and used elements of it for my preview, windows for example are taken from the OG one as well!

 

I'm now doing this, I'll try as best as I can how I do the previews!

 

Still think the A424 paint is too glossy but at least its metallic now. Been trying to change it myself to make the paint more matte but im just not able to figure it out

 

I don't think the later Stockcars have that either?

 

Hi, I'm trying to add helmets to my DTM 1991 mod but I don't know which template is the right one for the German Group A. The "helmet_80s_template" and "AMS2_91_Helmet_Template" do not work. Does somebody know which is the right template?

 

should be the 91' version
when looking into driver_91.bff you find the helmet liveries named "*91_*".
Maybe dimension or size does not match or not enabled for override?

 

@Rob Fitness really sorry if this has been asked already but what are the new preview dimensions ?
