Sorry if this has been asked somewhere already, what do the purple dash lights mean in the alpine? Really cannot work them out, not like lmus lift annd coast are they?

 

I tried these two cars just last night. The Vintage Gen1 is more challenging to drive compared to the previous version, but its behavior now feels much more realistic.

On the other hand, the Classic Gen1 is more manageable and significantly more precise during corner entries and acceleration. It's tough to push it to the limit, but very rewarding to drive.

Honestly, I’m quite satisfied with how these cars perform now.

 

How many people are having absolutely terrible framerates at Sebring ? Specifically this corner absolutely tanking the framerate by half in VR.

 

This will help:

• Be gentle on the throttle.

• If that doesn’t solve it, try these setup adjustments:
  • Reduce the number of clutches.
  • Increase the power angle in the differential.
  • Soften the rear anti-roll bar.
  • Move the brake bias slightly toward the front.

I think they're just deployment lights. They lit up when the car is deploying energy

Both versions, and frankly all versions have terrible framerate issues.

 

Did a race in Sebring that finished at night time and saw no fireworks whatsoever, even though I did the whole lap after the race just looking everywhere. I finished at ~20s from p1. Am I missing something?

Sebring is very bad optimized... There are several corners where my performance take a huge hit like in no other circuit.

 

I agree that Sebring really need optimizing there are soo many slowdown on this track.

But on the fireworks, i had no problems with them
I did 30 min race - 15 x time - Race start at 1700/5pm

 

Just bought the DLC's. First thing I noticed was the difference in user interface. Not really liking it. Looks very boring.

 

Overtake/RD article on reducing the exit oversteer in GT3/Lmdh, might be something to adjust on default setup? Nice easy info anyway How To Kill Power Oversteer in Automobilista 2

The issue is that there are no suitable cars for a vintage version of Le Mans. For example, if we consider the 1966 edition, the entire starting grid is missing. Perhaps a release featuring the 1966 Porsche, Ford, Ferrari, and Alpine along with the circuit would make more sense. Alternatively, a late '80s to early '90s layout could be considered, as it would better align with the content already present in the game.
