I wish there was a way to customize the presets or that it saved your main preferences (with an option to reset them to default). Don't like having to reduce the time or amount of laps each time.

 

It works the same way as in 1.5. Actually i have it alphabetical by default.

 

I think he means the LIST of cars rather than the icons. Yes it's gone.

 

question about the LMP2.

Is it normal that on a first lap on TT (50°C Tyres) i can be flat out on corners and within +0.500s of my fastest lap

Also the car can accept a huge steering angle without loosing the wheel (only a little it of understeer)

The car feel very nice and not floatty but the tyre grip in corners in really insane

For exemple braking at 100m at le mans chicane should send you into the wall but on AMS2 i go in the corner by managing tyre locking

Hard to find a quali lap of a LMP2 . But from what i see braking points aren't too off in AMS 2. But at a certain point the rear should start to feel light. Only in low speed corners the car can spin.

The Porsche esses i can be flat out with a crazy steering angle and the car keep going.
Maybe this car with limited power has a lot of room with its downforce but not sure

 

Could also be that the default setups in AMS2 are more prone to understeer

Shouldn't "All (Alphabetical)" be a complete list of all individual cars in the game and ''All (By Type)'' for categories rather than both being by category/type?

 

Had a thoroughly enjoyable last couple of days flinging cars around various tracks, getting a feel for machines I'd never touched before whilst feeling the v1.6 goodness in the machines I know so well. This update is soooooo good, so good!

Tidy up performance, fix the "magnetic" AI in collisions and further improve the AI is all I ask for the future (alongside whatever other goodies we get of course!). But as it stands right now AMS2 has become simply brilliant, love it

 

Is historic weather removed for now? I see no description of it anymore so it got me wondering.

 

After a long time without racing in AMS2, I did some races yesterday to test the 1.6 update.I still feel the lack of connection between the wheels and the road.I still feel that the cars don't take the turns but rotate around an axis.It's a very artificial and fake physics.Which makes me wonder if Reiza wouldn't be better off working on a different game, with a different game engine.I mean, if they couldn't fix it in 4 (maybe 5?) years, maybe the problem is something inherent to the Madness engine.

Please get rid of the transparent vehicles feature and the "reset car" feature.
This is a racing sim, please remove these from game. It's killing immersion.

 

Session advance bug has been biting hard lately. It used to be fixed or much better with the auto-advance option but now it seems it's back and got worse. It's happening quite often in LFM.

Ghosted cars in Practice and Qualifying are a good thing but i think the Reset Car in an actual RACE should be an ON / OFF option. I personally do not like how easy it is to exploit the car reset and come back onto the track from whatever ditch you ended up in, and the car that is going at full pace will then get jumpscared by a car standing still on the track out of nowhere.
