    After the update, the ARC Camaro car does not start at the green light. I tested on 3 circuits (Interlagos GP, Gateway Oval and Curitubia).

    *Standing start
    *Automatic transmission
    *Clear weather

    The cars actually have a steeper drop off in grip IMO

    Had a race at lemans in my GT3 custom championship tonight driving the Corvette and I believe there was way too much turn in with the car. It was in low DF but I dropped the rear DF by two clicks and reduced rear Arb by 5 clicks, and rear suspension settings by a couple as well, I also increased rear toe by 1. This would usually dull turn in for me but it did not make any difference. Anyone else drive this car since the update?

    If you didnt like the front of the car why didnt you start with adjustments there?

    I usually start at the rear to soften it as it usually gives some push when cornering, that usually does the job for me but it did not seem to make any difference this time.

    Funny, I was just trying things with setup with the GT3gen2 Porsche and wrote in the beta-threads about not noticing much if impact of the changes of the suspesion settings on how the car drives.

    EDIT: I was testing some extreme setup changes (min/maxing stuff)
    EDIT 2: according to telemetry, the changes do have impact to values (like ride height, rake etc.), I just cannot notice it that much on how the car behaves

    Back when i was involved with real racing on a local level i got to work with some guys had been doing it forever and they told me always start with the end you dont like If you cant fix it there then adjust the other end.

    Goal as always is to improve the tires :p But yeah while not universally the case, the minor adjustments were mostly around slightly tightening slip angles for the classes where we thought a further turn of the screw in that direction was warranted. They are minor adjustments in dimension and the effect on tire performance itself is pretty negligible (no TT times should be hurt in the making of these adjustments), but they do make tires in adjusted classes feel a little sharper.

    We are looking into this.

    And this - a hotfix should follow soon.

    We are aware and investigating an issue of game performance deterioriating over long sessions, not aware of it leading to CTDs but that´s always possible if memory load is increasing. It´s a top prio for the new dev cycle.

    If you are experiencing CTDs of this sort or another please make sure to submit Bugsplats as they are most helpful for us trying to track the source of the problem.

    Generally speaking other than this known issue both Bugsplat tracking & testing reports don´t indicate any severe increase in % of CTDs the game is generally running pretty stably, so the first advice for anyoen experiencing a disproportionate number of crashes is to roll back mods they might have installed as it´s always possible they might need some updates to suit changes made to the game in a new release.


    Last but not least - support for some of the new V1.6 SP gameplay features like 48-car grids which are still missing for championship mode is also in the works.

    Any chance the A.I in Daytona RC is being looked at ? they crash into the trye stack in turn 1 when trying to overtake each other, plus they are really slow in the second part of the Lemans chicane.

    Yes we are revamping Daytona AI paths to try mitigate those issues and persisting issues with AI outbraking themselves into the Bus Stop with some classes.

    Well, it's definitely changed the car... Would have to take time tinkering with the setup but it's murdering me on corner exit now.

    Testing the physics update and the rain. Just got reminded how gorgeous this game can be. I felt that the drop in grip is way steeper than before.

    Every time they update the AI I simulate a race because it is the best way to see the changes, in this case it was GT3 Gen2 in Interlagos with qualifying and a 50 minute race, 105 level and aggression on low, errors on Standard.
    In general, the overtaking between AI and the collisions between them have improved a lot, but it still happens that the first one never gets away, it always penalizes on the straight and in curves, in 50 minutes the first position changes about 20 times, an error must occur that leaves it more than 1 second behind for the one leading to free itself. Something similar happens in the groups that form behind, the first one of the group always comes slower and they overtake each other several times, very similar to using the AI limiter in Rfactor at 1 so that the races are close and penalize the leader, which makes them very unreal. Hopefully they can improve this aspect that has been happening since day 1, the rest is very good and constantly improving.

    Game is magical now I have vr set up properly. Absolutely amazing. I have only
    1 thing that I can’t solve and don’t know best place to ask…….I race entirely single event races, I have 15x opponents and myself, I have most settings at high, I have enhanced mirrors etc on. Now the issue is when I overtake someone only sometimes can I see them in my rear view mirrors so I know where they are (sometimes they are there and sometimes not), I have 16 cars visible in menus

    Does anyone have same issue and how to solve?

    Apologies if posted in wrong place but as I said previously this game is unbelievably good and it’s the only thing nagging me

    Will be nice if track details at LOW-MEDIUM don't use a lot of 3D new trees and simply don't render at all some trackside cosmetic objects. Some VR users like me will love it: more FPS for really minor visual loss.

    I think they got some speed boost again on some tracks

    To me it feels like i cant get any draft when i am behind the AI in the LMP2s on Daytona, but they fly right past me, and i cant keep up. But as soon as we get to a corner i easily get in front or catch up

    I think MP4/8 LD is still too fast compared to other formula cars, also the time it need to reach 0-300kmp/h+ is scary (even without manual DRS). ss is from Monza, lap times differences was bigger at Hockenheim. Didn't test the Model 3 car from HiTech Gen2 tho 20250125224446_1.jpg

    You migth be running a too much cornering focused setup, daytona is all about shedding drag and getting the power down early. Gotta make the car flat at high speed and not bottom out too much, work with the suspension, pump up the tires close the cooling vents and it will balance out, There´s also several kph to be gained by mastering the correct lines through the banked oval corners.
