Nice to see that you reworked Spielberg, but on the historic versions, there is still this weird replay cam which shows grass and trees instead of the track when cars drive in/out of Bosch curve.
    You can watch it here:

Okay, shall try next time I'm on it. I don't think we should have to go to extremes though to get get it to handle similarly to pre patch. cheers

Your example about formula is very good. In fact, I have driven formula alot in AMS2 and enjoyed it. However, when driving GT3, I still think that the grip of rear tyre is poor while the front wheel grip is relatively strong, which is easily to rotate with neutral steering. I can use a larger direction input to force the vehicle rotate when get into corners, and hardly gets understeer, witch is not similar with any other sims I played.

So I'm wondering if there's something wrong and how we could solve it.

Have you tried the new update? I feel like the over turning of the wheel to turn more has largely disappeared or at least been reduced massively

I think what you refer is a slightly different thing, before 1.6, you you were able to turn more for more rotation, but still had often enough grip in the rear to get away with it, which I don't think is a the case anymore and there has been a huge improvement in 1.6. The GT3 especially are still quite front dominant though and it's hard to setup the cars in such way that you would end up with understeer instead of oversteer.

This definitely isn't the case with all types of cars, the prototypes (LMP2, Ligier from P1, LMDh) for example are much more balanced in this regard.

Even with this behavior, I find the GT3's quite fun to drive though, much more lively than understeery cars and you can do setup changes that do help a bit, even if it doesn't ever really get very understeery.

This was reported many times in the appropriate threads since years, as it happens on other tracks, too (Curitiba Outer Track, Snetterton and last time I had this on modern Imola track, just to name a few again).
Historic Spielberg has been part of the game since day one and those weird camera angles were never reviewed. ;)

I do not drive in VR, so I can not verify that (but of course I believe you).
But there is a couple of tracks on which one of the replay cams is placed behind a forest, a hill or buildings and therefore, you just see nature instead of cars on track until the replay moves on to a different camera angle. And sometimes, this takes ages...:D

Haven't yet, but I checked the update notes, seems no improvement in this part.
Which car did you try? I'll try later.

Just set the Diff clutches to 2 (down from 6). Completely eliminates the rear end slide. They should make it the default setup and complaints about GT3 rear would disappear.

Pretty sure it just makes me slower by weakening the locking and directing more force to inside tire so I don't get the rotation benefit from more locked diff. But yeah, it stabilizes it a bit for sure, but when I have tried it few times in past, I never have felt it actually improved the setup in the GT3 cars.

Sorry for posting this replay stuff here, but there is another thing I noticed.

On some tracks, like Jacarepagua Oval, the instant tv-replay often walks amok. It switches to the infield of the oval and shows just fences and billboards for half a lap.
BUT: If you end the session, save the replay, exit and reload it, everything is normal again and the camera angles are all showing the cars on track.
Maybe this is some kind of weird issue with the Madness engine?

Edit: I saw no that this weird camera is also there in saved replays. The game switches between different angles, one is filming the countryside.

I say this in the nicest way, don’t listen to Renato. If you do, then expect disappointment, but don’t come here and get annoyed about it. It has happened with other before and I think we all want to avoid people getting angry over a non existent deadline
