there were pics floating around a year or so ago with a Aston in AMS2; so assume there has been a licensing type issue?? Def like to see that beast in the GT classes.

 

I just noticed the Mercedes CLK GT1 got an upgrade with a working motec, you can switch different screens now, showing tire temps and other important bits. Nice update! Thanks Reiza

 

In my opinion they also should add some CART tracks like Milwaukee, Mid Ohio, Belle Isle and a couple of street circuits.

Definitely fair to say something unexpected happened, hopefully it was an upgrade of the licence to some more bespoke, less PCARS2, content. Especially with how prominent they are in sportscar racing at the moment. An AMR-1 for the Group C set would also be amazing, gorgeous sounding car.

IIRC the button is called "CYCLE MOTEC LCD" under the "Game" keybinds.

Recommend trying it out in all sorts of cars if you haven't used it before.

 

The other day I noticed that there's also finally a gear indicator on the motec, which was sorely needed for HUD-less driving in VR

 

For anyone wanting to have good races offline to take a break from online or anything else, try the Sprint Championship with the sprint cars, I use AI at 108 (can't go faster than that, a problem between the steering wheel and the seat.) and high aggression. Have had some fun last night with the car, really fun to drive. Just don't go down gear to fast or you will lock the rear.

 

I'm curious about what the 'bomba' switch does.

 

I think it's the fuel pump

 

Bomba can mean either bomb or pump.
I heard a story of a Brazilian guy who bought a water pump in US, put it in his carry-on, when he was going through airport security he was asked what he had in his carry-on and he said he had a water bomb. Luckily there were other Brazilian people at the airport who explained the mistranslation and helped him get cleared for his flight.

The AI pitstops are still incredibly broken. The AI will stop for a millisecond then go immediately. I lose a ton of time, the FCY's are also quite broken.

 

Did you set a mandatory tyre change?

 

Well if you set mandatory pitstop but not tire change and they have no reason to put gas, that’s what will happen.
