I drove F1 and karts over the jumps in beta, it's fun. :)

Any chance of some more official liveries for the IMSA content?

As far as I know, IMSA considers LMH cars also as GTP. GTP is the class, the ruleset is where the difference is (LMH vs LMDh)

It’s late and I should have been asleep over an hour ago so forgive me but are we saying there will be more than one new manufacturer next time out?

I don't know if we will have more than one manufacturer, but I remember that last year he had spoken of seven new brands, and if I'm not mistaken, so far only five have actually been included, so we mere mortals can only wait.

So if the physics engine is able to use 4 threads (2 cores on most intel chips), how many total threads and cores can the full game use now when running? Is there (or is there planned to be) also a command line to limit or indeed expand the number of threads for instance for the graphics engine?

I feel we have been sold this idea that newer chips are faster due to adding more cores rather than brute clock speed yet a lot of software barely uses more than 2 or 4 cores.

The trucks aren't for me but the continued AI improvements definitely are and very much looking forward to finding out what's in store in that next Endurance pack!

Is it finally the long-awaited debut of Aston Martin? I assume Acura, Ferrari and Toyota are out, but each of them would fulfill the criteria.

I'm gonna lose my s*** if we get the Valkyrie.

Jumpy trucks should be great fun and potentially really good news about using 4 cores too. Running 1440p triples can be demanding on my pc :p

If the release of the new DLC is handled like the last ones, there will be a free trial period for the Super Trophy Trucks and their tracks. My advice: Give these beasts a chance! You might be surprised. :) I certainly didn't expect them to be as much fun as they are, but once they 'clicked' for me, the experience became strangely addictive.

And I agree about Aston Martin; out of the other missing premium manufacturers they are IMHO the most likely, and I'd be thrilled if/when we finally get some of their cars. Looking further into the future, I am also still hoping for a deal with Ford, which could offer a nice variety of new cars for existing or potentially upcoming classes (Mustang GT3 and road car, Fiesta or Focus RX, a classic Mustang for the TC Classics or Vintage GTs, Ford GT40 or Mk.IV, Ford GT LM GTE, etc.).

This sounds really good. Just setup a custom IMSA championship with 31 opponents but I guess I'll restart as I did only one race.

Any news on when the limited tyre sets per race weekend make an introduction? I'm really excited about that!

I found the force feedback in AMS1 to be particularly well-executed on these vehicles. Feeling the tires has always been more difficult in simulations than in real life. But these trucks (in Ams1) have a unique feel to the force feedback due to their heavy weight and long suspension travel. This made the FF seem particularly strong to me compared to the other classes. You're somehow working much more with the suspension and weight distribution than with the tires. This FF works wonderfully in sim racing.

Yeah, Ford would round out both the smaller classes for IMSA (like their single-mark equivalent to Super Trofeo), old endurance racing (Ferrari conspicuous by their absence) and a lot in between.

Great to see AI Wet Performance & Mistake Scalars in Single Player Championship Mode. Now all we need is for the presets to be available in Championship mode.

a random question for the beta-peeps as I am a) impatient and b) excited - does the STT have H-pattern or flappies? I have a "big" (330) wheel i DIY'd but I haven't made flappies for it yet and am curious if i ought to do that before i'll be able to play properly with the STTs...

Neither, it's a sequential stick shift. But hey, it only has 3 gears. :D

(It's a little more complicated than that in real life though if you look at the actual shift pattern.)

So with Renato confirming the Acura, that means we will surely be getting the NSX GT3 as well. But in GT4 class? I'm hoping for the BMW M4 GT4 G82 :)
