If it happens in Single Player too then probably. If not it is more likely a long standing issue with ranked MP so try running unranked or SP to see if that makes a difference as well as looking at temps.

 

I hadn’t used it in a while, but I gave it a spin with 1.6.5 and the Porsche — such a joy to drive.
FUGen2 also made a great improve in tyre bite feeling (at least with FullFFB).

 

I have absolutely nothing of value to contribute here, but just wanted to add that reading that particular example of initialism made my inner 10 year-old schoolboy chuckle.

LOD fading works in cars too? I play in VR with cars details LOW, and I want to test more without be biased by placebo effect if this feature don't work in cars LODs.

Version 1.6.5.2 appears to have fixed the issues with GT3 and older Formula cars at Silverstone, but the problem of hitting the tire barrier at Turn 1 of Daytona and turn last still persists. Thank you for your efforts—please keep up the good work! don't forget kart in

I just tried out Sebring after this 1.6.5.2 update. My word how you have improved the AIs in every way! Well done Renato & Reiza! Once the AMs are released, I will feel like on cloud 9 with those cars at Sebring

 

Fingers crossed that the AI don't keep crashing in Daytona

At 90% rebate, it is almost given away and there is no reason for any car enthusiast to not get it! I suppose Reiza expects it to boost DLC sales and MP.

 

Is it just me or does the AI with 1.6.5 is now way amazingly good in letting you trough in training and qualify if they are not on a hotlap? It feels like they don't think they are already in the event race anymore.

Even did an Endruance multiclass on Brand Hatch and it was stunning to see how the Prototypes moved through the GT3s

On the Adelaide circuit, AI was a full 5 seconds slower than human drivers – this is abnormal. Similarly, at the Hockenheimring circuit, it trailed human drivers by 4-5 seconds as well. This pattern holds true for all car models. We hope to enhance lap times to increase the challenge.

 

Not that my opinion is worth much but just wanted to add that I have never been much of a fan of the GT3 cars in AMS2 BUT....... After the latest patch/fix for the lod-frame rate issue I tried the Porsche/BMW/ Lambo and R8 and to be honest after basic setting up they all behaved superbly, so much so that I spent an unheard of number of hours racing these against the AI and had an absolute blast with each of them, no more fidgeting about on track like previously, they were pretty well planted , also no more issues on those stints with frame rates, Reiza whatever you do please don't tinker with them as they seem pretty damn good now.

 

The current situation is that GT3 and classic formula cars have started spinning out again at Silverstone National Circuit – and it's happening at exactly the same corner spot.

It's turn 2 I think, the M1 Procars suffered from it before pretty badly as well. However I think the appropriate AI redo message has been put on the corresponding post.

 

i was running Formula Trainer Advanced at Silverstone National earlier and it was like on ice straight out of the pits, could barely use throttle without looping out... i had to restart the game to resolve it

 

Maybe it might be better if they just removed the tyres completely from turn 1 as they seem to be really stuggling to fix it....... just an idea.

 

The solution I found is to race on the oval - then all the turns are turn 1!!!!
