Featured Automobilista 2 V1.6.5 RELEASED - Now Updated to V1.6.5.2

Road Atlanta is for me at least a well optimized track. From the latest endurance dlc I have big performance drops at Sebring since it came out, and sometimes at motorsports on that dangerous right corner, but in a much lesser degree.

 

Thanks I'll give both a run tomorrow and see how they behave.

 

Hi, are you going to update the brake disc glow texture on all cars or it will only be in Mclaren 720 Evo GT3 and the Corvette Z06 GT3? I think this new texture is much better, and it would be awesome in all cars. Thank you for your effort in this beautiful sim. Cheers

To be honest, I don't expect a new dev update until October at the earliest.

 

First of all, folks, there's a new DLC coming this month. You can even see the vehicles in the game files. That's why it was a 21 gigabyte update. They just need to release it.And that will probably suffice until the next developer update. They're only a small team, after all.

 

Well it was said that the new dlc (and 1.7?) is coming out in July, so that's there. I just hope that if it isn't happening in July we get to know it before the end of the month

I'm pretty sure it's just content. I guess the beforementioned improvements to Endurance and MP are the stuff in 1.6.5.

V1.7 will have graphics updates and then also more realistic modelling of tyre features

 

Enjoy AMS2 as it is right here and now instead of chasing some high or excitement about the next possible update.

1.5 to 1.6 took about 1.5 years. I doubt we will see 1.7 anytime soon, especially since 1.6.5 wouldn't make much sense if a major patch was near

 

These comments are giving me deja vu of the 1.6 cycle.

 

Agreed. People making the same mistake, getting themselves all hyped up because Renato said they wanted to have the next DLC released this month, other people being overly pessimistic despite the second week of July just now starting.
