The steam sale has started and every dlc seems to be 50% off

 

Yes, unfortunately, it's the physics of the game, the ice effect under the tires, the grass is ice, the braking effect is very flat. Even the sound in the cockpit, I had to lower the sound of the road to feel less of this CHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

 

Regarding realism, how many sim racers have experience with, for example, the GT3 GTE or even hypers or in racing? There are those who have something to say about every sim, but is that realistic? How many have a rig setup that simulates real G forces, where you can use a brake with 200 kg of force because the G forces help?


For myself, I know how it feels to feel the limits of the tires on the asphalt and to start oversteering and understeering and to catch it, but otherwise I have zero experience with racing in the real world. The new update make me feel more contact between the tires and the asphalt, or less feeling of ice? I really wonder how much sim racers reference can be made to racing in real racing classes.

The reason that EARLIER I said you lose the rear end totally is because I have a way to never have that happen now.... better FFB file. So I can "feel" the rear end better (excellent!) and thus know exactly where that limit is (or is getting close!). This has also allowed me to over-drive the rear even more - seeing you do not have to fear rear end loss almost at all. Yet it IS still going to happen IF you go over that limit!

In reality it should happen WAY SOONER.... that is the issue. Being able to super rotate off the rear, for no detriment.

 

What ffb file do you use ? I am curious to try it if it has the moza pithouse setting.

 

With the start of the Steam sale, I looked at the available content.
There are 3 items listed as not in my library,
Racin´ USA Full Expansion Pack
Premium Expansion Packs
Premium Track Pack
I have all of this content.
But it seems that Steam will happily sell it to me again.
It's just a minor thing, but it is a thing, If ya know what I mean.

 

Is there a place where we can say what we want in the next updates of the game I really wanted some cars and the portimão track

No sure where to ask this as the thread is closed for comments. But seems be that AM2 “latest updates and previews for AMS2 will be on Facebook. I don’t have Facebook so will there still be updates on here?

 

Of course all updates are on here, Facebook Reiza Page seems dead to me, surprising as their will be the most boomers. Instagram and X are fairly active by Reiza standards.

You say that but but most news recently has been on Overtake. It’s only been patch notes that appear on here.

I didn’t understand your boomer point? I don’t use Facebook actually most social media as I think most of it is trash.

 

He hit me too he would not yield as I was lapping him , he was blocking I hope someone reported him , I tried to save replay to report but the button was only there for a few seconds
Hopefully the replay system will get updated ( for VR )

ps I also used the LFM website to join the lobby , no crashes experienced

Man, I won the race on the last 2 corners but I think this is a gang, or an organised group in LFM.

viremartin (martin viré in LFM) said he was going to report me for hitting him but he brake checked on the apex of the last corner oportunity for me to overtake him, its either I brake and let him win or we crash?

This is because one of the blue flag guys, very purposefully turned into me (i was left) blue was middle, martin was on the right, and martin got back to p1 after I was able to catch back to him recovering from another blue flag crash. the way this guy turned into me and made room for martin to pass made me lose p1 to p2 by ramming me sidways on a straight, not only that but it wasn't even the racing line. the radar would show I was on this side, I mean we could see each other's car.

this was a huge recovery race with 4 blue flags touching me and I had to nurse suspension damage the whole race, I was still faster than everybody 1 to 2 seconds a lap!!!

then these guys, specially those latin names spanish sounding guys (one of them uses an english flag and name inside AMS2 but in LFM his real name is latin lol)

They are an organized gang, it was too obvious.

I am so angry and mad at AMS2 that the game crashed right before the final screen : no replay for me. (I've been asking on PM in LFM for the replay if anyone has it)

Otherwise, I don't want martin vire to report me for his own brake check and also when the whole race I had a team of guys trying to take me out ... at this point the only thing they aren't doing is crashing into me at full speed for a full send DNF ... that would be too obvious and get them banned.

Anyway I was using OBS, but i know for LFM replay is the way to report. otherwise if I get punished by this, i will expose this guys on youtube and on the forums and make everyone race harder against them.

or I'll quit this ****show and join iRacing where I can get people banned for this kind of **** and their monthly membership money goes to waste.

 

Does anyone know whether or not an update is expected this month, as rumored?

 

Endurance Pack 3 DLC and Nordschleife Update was officially announced for July by Reiza on x.com. So far we can just guess it will launch in time.

Even though releasing Endruance 3 so close to LMU 1.0 sounds a bit like it could lose the attention it deserves, I would totally understand a delay to August just to ease up this conflict

 

Reiza never ever cared about other racing games nor their updates. I remember when someone was panicking here saying "Reiza please release 1.6 before AC Evo comes out or else people will all move to that game when it comes out" ... AC Evo came out and i had not seen anybody move away from the people i race AMS2 with. Also guessing release dates is pointless and just spam at this point.
