I personally believe the Steam Bundle system works much better than "pack" DLCs.
This is not your fault, but merely a limitation of the steam back end.

But steam will always add their mark up for additional DLCs in packs, even when nothing is being bought. for example.
The screenshot below shows that I can still buy the "premium track pack" for £16.99, even though steam already tells me that I already own every track included in that pack. this may confuse people or cause them to pay unnecessarily.

This issue does not arise with Steam made bundles, which is what I use to purchase further content.

If I want the complete GTE class, I have to buy the “Racing USA pack ” but that GTE class doesn't include the new Aston Martin GTE, so I have to buy the “Endurance pack 3” which is a bit strange In my opinion, the Aston Martin GTE should be added to the “USA pack.” Now I have to purchase two expansion packs to get the complete GTE field.

Being able to buy each car individually would be nice, but I think the main core of users of AMS2 buy all the main DLC's so unlikely this option would ever happen.

Would rather have purchased individual items, bundles might have only 1 x track or car that I would want, won't be purchasing even bigger bundles now, guess that's what other sims are for, to play content you don't own in AMS2

While it would be nice - and we do try to compartmentalize several cars of a given class into the same DLCs when possible - these two DLCs came out in 2021 and 2025 respectively; we couldn´t feature Aston Martin back in 2021 because that license only materialized in 2025 , and we couldn´t just add a car to a four year old pack when that license hadn´t been priced into the original DLC.

Again folks please take into account the goal for the thread as outlined in post 2, which is for users to enquire about or give suggestions they might have about the ongoing DLC restructuring given existing technical and commercial constraints - you may not know what these constraints are exactly but some things aren´t tricky to figure out isn´t going to be viable with some consideration for this is in the other side of the deal. It´s all well and good to have ideas and condoct all the diferent ways you would prefer to have AMS2 DLCs itemized or bundled together according to each one´s very specific preferences, but even the ideas that are technically and commercially viable if we were starting fresh would require us starting fresh to execute, it can´t be done for AMS2 so it´s not what this thread is about.
