    Try default plus...

As I learned today in the beta side, default plus is actually the default with the full range of forces including stuff beyond what you would feel in a real car.

default is just what you would feel in a real car apparently. And with the FFB redux, they changed a lot of the over feedback and false positives you would get with the old FFB... So it naturally feels a lot more numb.

    TLDR, try default plus

OMG!! I don't know what you guys did to the GT3 and the FFB and especially the AI. It's really an amazing update. For the first time, I see AIs are actively spread out looking for opportunity to taking over each others, I just had a wonderful race with AIs at Monza. The FFB now is must better than before, I can tell right always how is the car now.

Thank you for all of your hard works. Keep it up guys. You're my favorite game studio of all times now

I'm glad the Murcielago is so awesome because the Revuelto might be the least inspiring car I've ever driven in AMS 2. I already knew going into this that I probably wouldn't spend much time with the Hypercars due to so many poor experiences after buying the Senna/Brabham pack and trying to make a go of it, but at least the other Hypercars in the class feel like they have some soul. Maybe its just my lack of meshing with the AWD on the new Lambo, but the car doesn't feel like an exotic track toy in the way the other cars in the class do.

The Miura is a solid option for its class and is quite a lively drive that prevents my blood pressure from stabilizing. Again, not my style, but it feels unique and the initial burst of joy each time I notice myself blasting by the BMWs and Corvettes only to realize I have to somehow stop this thing feels good.

I've spent the least amount of time in the Diablo, but trying to wrangle it out of slow corners is a hoot and the wheel-to-wheel action in the Super Trofeo sprints I've tried leads me to believe that I still have many more races to squeeze out of it before moving on to the next shiny toy.

The pack is worth asking price just for the Murcielago, but IMO, as a whole it feels less impressive than some of the previous car packs (particularly the first Lambo pack that filled in many holes in classes and was nothing but winners from the first drive). I suspect that the addition of more GT1 cars in the coming months will further increase the appeal of the Murcielago against the others in this DLC pack.

***Disclaimer: I play with a gamepad so my opinions are worth less than dirt

Wow, just tried it, it's really really good now. I liked it before but always felt a pendulum like effect on acceleration, which to me felt over pronounced. This effect is now completely gone, feels perfect now! Thanks Reiza for further improving the FFB, thanks Dylan for your post which triggered me to test it out and be a happy simdriver now :)

Although the default setup is initially loaded as it should, as soon as you edit a value (or use Reset) leave the setup screen and go back to it, what you have edited is lost replaced by the manually saved setup values (which could have been days ago). How is it not a problem ? I edit some values and it is always replaced by the last manual save I did each time I enter the setup screen.
Personally I never manually save setups so not affected by this issue (I only ever change fuel and eventually TC/ABS), but that would be super confusing otherwise. Apparently the user that initially reported it in this thread was confused enough with this issue to report it.
Also when deleting a manually saved setup in the dedicated tab, its values are still coming back out of who knows where. The only workaround I found is to clear the setup folder of its files.
AMS2 and setups is still an inscrutable thing 5 years later... Glad I'm not using them (the manually saved kind).
As a developer myself, these things annoy me quite a bit and sometimes makes me seriously question other aspects of the sim and priorities, when there are still setup loading issues 5 years later.

Can anyone confirm please: we did some multiplayer with the Lamborghini MurciƩlago R-GT and you can barely hear any other cars on track even with player audio low and opponents on 100.
The sound from the camera from behind the car is way lower than the incar volume, did the external sounds somehow get messed up in this release?

Edit: i just tried the super trofeo and there is no comparison, the external audio on the GT1 is ridiculously low:(. It;s exactly the same in the Beta as well:(

For the Revuelto, disable TC/ABS entirely (or set it to low values, especially TC) and check if you still dislike it after that, after giving it a good try. And of course change the setup to entirely manual gearing if you didn't.

Yup the sound mixing of the new Lambos doesn't seem right.

Indeed the Revuelto is absolutely a flaming POS which is probably also the case in real life (I'm also on controller like you which means that I'm probably talking out of my ass to)

*See my updated post later regarding GT3s*

the new AI blue flag behaviour ruins multiclass races. If you're the slower class and the faster one approaches, you usally get blue flagged with the car still being a a bit away from you. The issue is that the AI then starts heavily lifting the throttle and giving up any fight in their own class for position. If the faster class approaches and you're behind AI, you can easily overtake them since they just let everybody through. That's not even how it works in multiclass, blue flag just means someone approaches and you should stick to your line, but you never slow down heavily straigths to let others through. Its the faster class that has to make sure it gets through safely

I understand that but I really hoped this option would finally solve this old bug. Maybe it could be extended so the car just never autoloads any setup? You still get the issue that lets say you load up a race, add a bit more fuel because the base value often is too low and go back to the menu. Now once you click on setup your just created setup is again gone and overwritten by any setup for a random track you might have saved for the car. To me the car should always stick to the setup that the car has currently applied to and never overwrite any value of the car on its own because you clicked on the setup menu

I have 400 hours on the game and I like it a lot. But many cars are always in couple or in groups. Is this by game design ? Because I liked a lot Ams 1 where cars are not in couple or in groups but indipendent on each others...

I have 2 questions about future updates and endurance racing.
    1) When do you plan to add the ability to co-drive with a NAMED AI driver, rather than a generic unnamed AI co-driver?
    2) When do you plan to add AI-to-AI co-drivers so that your AI opponents also swap drivers during the race?

For me these two features are vital for endurance racing. There's little point having all the cars and tracks from IMSA when we're missing the vital gameplay feature of driver stints for both the player and the AI.

    Sorry, I am disappointed:
This bilious / lime green Miura is missing! Just in this colour it is a REAL Miura:)
But all others are really great, a big thanks REIZA

Hi, Tried the the Miura on Snetterton yesterday. Interiour is absolutly marverlous.

Suspensions side i was surprized how this car bounce in straights .. I mean got the feeling something was loose or sway bar was disconnected ... bouncing like a 2CV. I will never drive such of this car IRL but I was under the impression that the car bounce more in amplitude than what this kind of supsension can allow.

The car in front of me had the tires off the ground from time to time

tested the MP at the same time .. Ranked ( which was the most problematic) and not ranked.

Two first games went flawless. Third one mid race ( 3 of 7 laps) lost my motion inputs ( motion stayed up but silent), LovelyDashboard went crazy with all times and prediction and Frame Rate went from 120 to 43-47 FPS ( triple screen stetup ) until the end of the race. ( SV-R on Spielberg .. mix of AI and players, mix of SV-R and GERMAN 90 DTM, broken sky )

Edit :: AI s are still looking wierd .. driving straight in crab position wheel turned and supsension like in corner

Edit 2 .. on Snetterton with the Miura .. both session I had TC and ABS for qual but not in race. My setup is Authentic for driving aids

This is a major problem for me and essentially stops me enjoying content. Most of my hours in this game is running tests with different cars to see what can race together nicely and also have a aesthetic match - only to be forced to have on track cars that seriously do not match in any way.

I just noticed after looking at the new DLC that the Ligier has the JS P4 in its class and has ruined the JS2-R content/races for me. I understand the 'sim' is attempting to match real life, but this is a video game and locking choices is not what I want to pay for. The new car added to the Historics have 50mph different top speeds between the BMW, Corvette and the new Miura.

What is the major issue here with simply adding an option for how many of each car in any class you want on track?? Just add them separately and let the buyer choose how to use it.

The other issue with it is that when you choose 10 of one class, 10 of another (for example), you'll get 7 or 8 of 1 car, and 2 or 3 other other which is just rubbish.

Anyway, i've asked this before and it's just ignored. To note, Personally I couldn't care less about real world anything. E,g I'll take 'Floripa' (who remembers?) over any expensive 'official licence' content any day.

Neither FFB profile represents only what you would feel in a real car. Since we are sitting in front of screens or wearing VR headsets, additional (and sometimes exaggerated) feedback is helpful to control the car and give an immersive experience.

Default+ has all the physics-based feedback possible in the game, so everyone should use it unless they have a problem. Don't conclude you have a problem unless you have gone through a proper configuration process (mostly to rid your own wheel of unhelpful flavours and counter-productive settings).

If it still doesn't feel good to you after that, try Default or some custom files. You'll thank yourselves for first experiencing the base line FFB intended by the devs of the game because then you can better appreciate and compare what the custom files bring to the table (or in some cases take away from the table).

I do like the new default + ffb. It is much less violent while still having great raw feeling with a lot of detail and feels much more balanced overall.

I still think the exposure changes kind of messed up the whole scene for vr on quest 3

In a certain popular website live stream showcasing the new Lambos, the Revuelto was the only car the host could drive properly...AWD helps a lot plus all the traction and braking nannies (as it does for the real-world purchasers).

It's not a race car and never will be. However, one tip for these cars and even the GT3's is to turn down the electronic nannies (TC, ABS). Make sure you have a convenient mapping for these and even try them at 0 to compare. Of course, this assumes you are using "Authentic" settings in the game and not the arcade general driving aids, so only cars with the electronics in real life will have them (to adjust) in the game.

I just tried it. It feels more like what I expected. But I have to say, it's surprising, because I was used to Default, not Default Plus, FFB. And now Default Plus feels more like the old Default, to the point where I wonder if the names have been swapped by accident. Anyway, the current Default Plus gives me more weight on the steering wheel, and I can feel the understeer. But I"ve lost a lot of the details from the tires that I was getting with the current Default. Pick your poison situation I guess. I'm gona stick with the default plus for a while and see how it goes. The steering wheel of the formula V10G2 still feels a litle bit on the lightier side for me, but I guess this is the nature of this nimble car. Thank you for your advice.

Again, what happens when you use Authentic settings and turn down or off the in-car TC on the GT3's? The default set-up is a compromise for all weather and temperature conditions. If you were driving a GT3 car in real life, you wouldn't use a medium to high TC setting unless it was damp/raining or so hot the tires were melting and you were getting excess wheelspin under acceleration out of corners. I always start with TC=0 in a Practice session to discover if or when some TC would be helpful. I can always raise it with a mapped controller setting while I am driving if it starts to rain or I need to manage tire temps.
