Hi guys, Does this happen with other programs or just with AMS? Do you remember installing any other software or making any changes to the pc between last time you play AMS and the latest update?
Nothing! The game worked fine up until a half hour before I updated it. As soon as the update finished (Approx 350mb) it won't start. There is nothing I haven't tried and I see a number of other people have the exact same problem.....Enter profile name = Game crash. Reinstalled everything a number of times etc. etc. I've checked out all of the forums and spoken to a number of my drivers who usually sort out a problem. We all at a loss.
Can you please check Documents folder, and see if there is FILE, not FOLDER named just "Automobilista", it shouldn't have any extension?
No file or folder in Documents that says Automobilista. Using Windows 7 64bit Ultimate as admin. UAC disabled.
Integrity check says 3 files not verified and will be re-downloaded. Nothing happens. Check again, says all good. After trying to start the game, check integrity again and says same 3 files. Have no clue what 3 files. The trace file:
Another odd one, but worth a try; can you enable uac at default, just for this test, and see what happens then?
Just did. Same. Alex used Team viewer and the game crashes loading the player file. I'm sure he will get to the bottom of it. Thanks for all the help so far guys.

OK for the ones having this problem, since we cannot reproduce it internally, we need your help to isolate where the issue may be. If you may please bare with us here and run a couple of tests. EDIT - Please follow instructions from post 57 instead.
Just got it to WORK!!!!!!!! Ran the game in Vista Service Pack 2 Compatibility mode. Does that help anybody?

Gustavo, can you please confirm that a) AMS_Running does not load the game, and b) whether you had the game & were able to run the game in the previous v0.8.9 release?
