You have a point guys. For example the F3 shows this behavior that the point of lock-ups could the further away.

Have you tested the P2? I have the impression that in this car the spectrum is bigger and you lock-up with more brake force.

    seems car dependant.

I'm having the same issue here: it's too easy to lock up. I'm using CSL Elite LC pedals. For e.g. when driving Super V8 just brief pressure on the brake and it locks up and smokes (and I'm using 85 bumpers on the pedals). It feels as if I do not have the full resolution of the brake pedal. Almost the same situation with Ultima but perhaps less severe.

I've posted the issue in the beta forum, with a link to this discussion for the devs.

Perhaps there's some hidden curve when you brake. It should be linear with loadcell.

Well, I don't know what could be causing this but I don't have this issue with ACC, AC, DR2. Indeed it should be linear and there's no dead zone set in game settings so I don't know but it's not right...

Is anyone feeling the same thing with the throttle? I think it is the same as the brake i.e. I only seem to need half pedal travel to fully apply the throttle.

Agree with the later 3, I gave up today and jumped into iracing and ACC. Back in AMS2 I had DIView running on a separate screen so I can watch the raw input and it all looks good.

I don't quite understand that, F1 drivers give it a pretty good stomp on the pedal, interesting article here Axis Of Oversteer: Who brakes best in Formula 1, Brembo tells

TL,DR "Alonso stomps on the pedal harder and generates more pressure on the system, we are talking of a pedal pressure in the 130-140kg range (+/-285-310lbs)."

I always read race drivers talk about the initial pressure they use to stop race cars with reasonable down force and they say they really stomp the pedal initially then gradually ease off , depending on the car and amount of down force and i've noticed in other sims i can really stomp the pedal . But in AMS 2 I was having some issues with locking brakes and found that i needed to drop the brake pressure in the tuning menu , now when the brakes and tyres are hot i'm able to drive like i'm used to and can really stomp the pedal again !

Also chaps..... do you feel theres a slight delay in pedal inputs? the rev and tacho are in time... but it seems the actual cars engine and brakes are slightly delayed?

Would be easier to diagnose this problem if there was a pedals app overlay, does anyone know if such is planned?

Yes, they will come (I'm not sure when, but I'd say it won't take much time).

There are dashes in Simhub that show pedal inputs you can could use in the meantime ;) but from what I've seen using one there is no delay!

It doesn't seem that the newest version of SimHub (6.9.7) yet supports AMS2 -- how are you getting it to work?
