    Hi all, my first post here.

    Since time trial is now added to early access, can we expect time trial mode or filter option to compete with people on default setups only? For all of us who don't have the time to invest heavily into developing a setup for specific combo! Loving the sim so far, keep up the great work!

    unfortunately default setups are not good for every track.
    too many changes are needed to get optimal behaviour.
    e.g.
    bumpy roads -> softer suspension
    different track temperature -> changes to tyre pressure
    many corners -> roll bar
    long straights -> gear box
    and many more
    for me it makes no sense to drive with a car with a totally wrong setup.
    If you think, some people drive with better seups, just load their ghost and copy their setup.

    Didn't know you could copy someones setup from the leaderboard, that solves it then. Thanks for the heads up!

    Multiplayer Rating System

    Yesterday I was wondering how Reiza gonna do this? It's known we regularly have to delete the AMS 2 folder when the game received an update. So saving the ratings in the AMS 2 folder is weird. So I was thinking to bypass this:

    1. Store the ratings in the Steam-cloud
    2. Store the ratings in an server of Reiza linked to your steamname
    3. Store the ratings somewhere else, like ''Appdata'-folders
    Edit: 1 might be the most safe. I don't see VALVE going bankrupt and it's proved cloud is has no issues. 2 and 3 might give problems. Hosting a server is costly and if a OS or SSD/HDD fails the appdate is gone.

    No decent player rating system would store the rating on the players PC.

    Ivysaur i got your point! Think they would not put it in documentfolder anyway bc they know we regulary need to delete it every update. Also think they are smart and have fixed all the things with the rating system so it get stored on Cloud thats the best thing they can do :)
