Come on guys, my icon is still low res... :p AI is vastly better. Had an 8 lap battle with with the same ai in a 16 lap race at Virginia Grand in F3. He lost a wheel and still managed to overtake me. Got him in the end though and finished 7th out of 16! Never felt so good to beat just one AI.

That's the very first time I heard about that issue. Maybe you can describe it at "bug reports".

Can we please have the option to alter these filters ourselves. Using a DD wheel I personally preferred the more refined FFB of the previous build.

I agree, I actually like it a bit "rougher" but the options would be good

The AI is much better now, but still a little erratic to the sides... I had three long races and trice was takedown as in a Burnout game lol. But, yeah, you are getting there.

Second day of testing with G920 ... nothing to do ... something is wrong ...

With reference only to the Logitrch G920, I am concerned that this modified FFB in version 0.9.3.1 is the basic version on which to make future improvements ... if it remains so, I don't think it can improve by adding only the effects and improvements, because it seems defective in the starting point ... I would not like to return to the nightmare of PC2, where I played for months and months, not to do racing with cars, but to find modified FFB files that would solve the oscillation defects never resolved until the end (in that case, the only solution were the Jackspade file which partially solved the defects of the basic version).

From the first comments, I see some with the G27 who seem happy with this version, I have not yet seen particularly positive comments on the G29 (without using custom files), but regardless of this, please Reiza to check what has changed on the Logitech G920 from version 0.9 .2.1 to version 0.9.3.1, the previous version could be, in my humble opinion, an excellent starting base at 90%, but the latter, if it remains the definitive one to refine, worries me a lot ... even today, I tried everything again the possible and I can not have any driving pleasure ... I do not say to criticize, I only have a lot of hope in you Reiza and Mr. Simioni!!!
    Thanks in advance ....

I have to agree with the not so good FFB for Logitec wheels.
Specifically with my G29 the new FFB is a desaster!
No feeling in the center. Rattling on every meter (Brands Hatch). Nearly no G-Forces or any other helpful information from the wheel.
I tried several setting for Gain, Min Force and FX, but no setting seemd to really help.
That is very disapointing since FFB was already really good in the previous versions. But something seems to be broken with 0.9.3.1.

And yes: I have reset everything by deleting the Automobilista 2 folder under My Documents.
Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. But since it is always a hazzle to configure all the inputs for my wheel and button box again and again and again, I am really upset because of thif huge step back (at leas for me).
Please help! Or fix whatever is broken for the G29.

    Rectification:
I have to correct myself and say sorry to Reiza!
Today I reset the Document/Automobilista 2 folder again and dailed in all the settings.
And what should I say? It's fantastic!
    G29 with Default/80/90/50 is a blast!
I mainly tried Imola with the Roco (grinning) and the Caterham 620R (sweating ....).
I never had a better feedback from the car than in those two attempts.

I don't know what went wrong yesterday, but now it is top notch!
    Keep on Reiza!

Not asking for you guys to watch the entire video, BUT here are a few glitches shown in here. The start caused a few issues - also I MAY have punted someone near the end of the video (messing around) with catastrophic consequences. Is that Netcode?

Ainda tenho esperanças de termos VW Brasilia, Fiat 147, Escort, Maverik e quem sabe até o Dojão na comunidade BR e pirar com essas maquinas : D

Well... it's not really a bug:

The truck is higher that the pedestrian walkway on Guaporé and get stuck. Ok, the hitbox is ugly (it's larger than the upper spoiler), but the real thing raced there during 2018 season (but I don't know if there were modifications on the autodrome), soooooo.

    Abração!

Just for fun, delete the ffb_custom_settings.txt file in your Documents\Automobilista 2 folder. The game will recreate it the next time it runs. No need to alter anything in the sim or recalibrate (unless you would like to recalibrate just to be 100% sure all is well there). A couple of times something has got messed-up with this file for me and refreshing it returned things back to normal. The change in FFB between 0.9.2 and 0.9.3 should not be so noticeable. I needed to raise LFB and lower FX from my prior 0.8.x settings, though, to get the best from the new 0.9.3 FFB, but your wheel may behave differently.

I'm reading commentaries, and I have to agree that FFB was great in my TMX until 0.9.2.1... Now, it doesn't feel right at all, it's spongy, it has this weird "pendulum" effect described above, it's really odd. Not happy... maybe I'll reinstall the entire EA version, as well as the beta version, if there were some residual files that are doing something that I must delete... I'll see and comment.

Concerning the AI, I know that thunderstorm conditions are a pretty extreme thing, and I do make a lot of mistakes there, but still, the AI should not be 30 seconds (!!) a lap quicker than me under these circumstances (tested with the Formula V10 on Azure Circuit).
Not sure whether making them quicker over puddles really helped there.
On a positive note, they didn't hit me in that race, even though I was basically in another car class.

On another note, I still do not understand why you reduced the grip off the racing line a few updates ago. Even though the netcode was broken back then, going side-by-side was an absolute blast, and it's almost impossible to do now for more than one corner.

Apart from that, thank you very much for fixing the SuperV8, that car is as much fun now as it was before the changes in 0.9.2.

That's what made me stop racing the a.i in the wet in PCARS 2, as well.
The a.i were unaffected by puddles, where I'd always have lurid slides through them, even at slow speeds.
Not a problem when online, as everyone is affected the same, but vs the a.i? Forget it.
It's like they're on full wets, whilst you're on slicks.

But there is less grip off the racing line. That's realistic. That's probably why they made the change.

It was a 1% change--not responsible for anything noteworthy.

Yeah, but it's one of the things where I don't think realism is actually beneficial for enjoyment, the other one being (excessive) dirty air.
I adressed this a few weeks ago already, just didn't want to repeat myself. Even if it was realistic - which I doubt, especially at the beginning of a race - I just don't see why you would think this to enhance any racing experience.

If that was the case, why would you even change it? I know the value wasn't vastly decreased, but that doesn't mean it doesn't make a difference.

1% was transparent for me and I even improved my lap time record after this so I don't think this is something you can really notice...

It's not a general reduction in grip, only the track off the racing line is less grippy now, whereas the racing line retains the full grip it had before. It does not impact hotlapping at all, at least not if you don't make mistakes.

Update: I erased all game files and folder, and reinstalled it. Everything seems to be ok now; it feels great again, no sponginess or pendulum effect.
