    Yep, works beautifully on Arch.
    I have an AMD RX480 8GB and i5 6600K (overclocked at 4.4GHz) 60 FPS locked with vsync on, mix of high and med details, MSSA med, motion blur == off. (if you do not play with rain/storm you can bump up to high/ultra no problem -- RX480 is not particularly strong, but mesa drivers + ACO are stellar)
    Essentially same ("95%+) performance as in Win10 -- same graphic settings. Got rid of Win10 since proton 4.x -- the happiest man ever :D
    FPS do drop in replays -- sane in Win10

    Note that AMS2 has the same performance as PC2 on Linux

    Enjoy PopOS!

    Cheers
    G

    Update:

    * Fixed balance(by removing a non-fix to get closer to Default feel).
    * Fixed road details issue.

    It's now a nice layer of improvements on Default. Adjustment improvements like smart slider, weights for effects and no_scale_ffb as well as the "Lfb bug" fix, road details, kerb, scrub are all in place and more.

    If anything feels weird to you, then set friction to 0.0 in the file.
    It is not the final version of that yet.

    @Manuel Staedel This is the fixed file.
    @F.Santos This should feel better.

    I just tested 4 cars,
    Caterham 310 HP,
    Sigma,
    F V10
    Ultima Streetcar...

    Dream! And driving on gras are much more better. No clipping on Brands Hatch.
    Thats the right way.
    Thank you so much!

    And sorry, now i don't have learn the FFB files because you made it.
    Very nice!

    Hi . Do you mean the min force value in the custom ffb file ?
    Just wondering because I have a G920 and would also like to correct this .
    Thanks .

    Update:

    * Friction morning improvement.

    For wheel bases that don't have build in friction functionality, this should make for a less rubbery feel to the steering wheel at low forces.

    It's set at 0.10, but you can adjust in the file if you want more or less.

    Bingo! Karsten, great file! feels way more natural now.

    Gonna test later the one from this morning, but I think I will keep this one for now.
    Kerbs felt quite brutal with the V8, Ultima and Stockcar, I toned down to 0.05 and it feels quite good now in all cars. It gave me more difference between kerbs I noticed too. This is a more personal opinion than the fact here, probably:D.

    I did raise the scrub from 1.4 to 1.6 and I can't be sure that I noticed any difference?! Do you have a way to verify that? if its really taking into account when u change that parameter?

    Other than that, great file! thanks mate

    Yes, the min_force in the ffb_custom_settings.txt file

    I also tested the modified file from NuScorpii/Jabbah -- the latest version (v2.x by memory)
    Also there I had to bump up the min_force to get rid of the center wheel ffb dead zone

    (Obviously select custom profile in the ffb panel in the game)

    for the records, on my setup (G29) to match the overall feel of the FFB on the wheel, tested across different cars, tracks and values of the FFB sliders in game (gain/sub/fx):
    [ffb_custom_settings.txt from Reiza] min_force 0.00 -> 0.08
    [ffb_custom_settings.txt from NuScorpii] min_force 0.00 -> 0.12 (also 0.14 is not bad, on the high end though)

    Note that with the NuScorpii I lowered the sliders in the in-game FFB (no clipping):
    [Reiza custom file + min_force 0.08]: 70/80/80 for gain/sub/fx
    [NuScorpii custom file + min_force 0.12]: 70/60/50 for gain/sub/fx

    My 2 cents: i would strongly recommend Reiza to take a look at the issue -- at least for weak wheels (does the bumping of the min_force makes sense/works also for 'strong' wheels?) -- hopefully others can chime in with their experience on the matter.

    Edit: it would be useful to know if any non-zero value (e.g.: 0.01 or even lower) for min_force makes sense for wheels in general. I did not dwell in the maths/formula and I do not know details of FFB implementation, but min_force == 0.00 does not make much sense from a general standpoint. With an FFB so detailed as in AMS2, i would assume that some vibration (e.g. from the engine) are always present even at standstill

    G.

    Update:

    * Center momentum added. Experimental.
    * Fixed wrong ordering of wheel type overrides.

    Another lunch break, another experiment :)

    This one feels absolutely stunning to me!
    Adjust the strength of it "center_momentum" in the file if you think it's too much or too little.

    Custom ffb file attached "Momentum":

    @F.Santos Please give this one a spin too, it might have fixed scrub adjustment issue. There was a bug...

    From all files this is "The center" for me and my T300RS (CP70/rest100, 80/60/50) !!
    Without altering anything it felt great out of the box, right away.
    For now I'm not gonna change FFB-files again, unless there is a bug hidden somewhere, and get the feel for and adapt to this great FFB!
    Tnx @Karsten Hvidberg for your time spend on this!

    You nailed it man! The pitch, yaw and roll feel in this file it's really good. I did reduce the kerbs to 0.1, but I do that so I get more rolling noise (higher fx). Awsome file, you can take a break now and enjoy your work.
    Ill be honest, was hard to stop testing cars to come back here and leave feedback on it.

    Thanks for your efforts man!

    Right?
    I was bloody surprised myself and had a hard time removing my own ass to post it even, but am working on a deadline so had to :)
    I think it improved the under steer feel dramatically as well.

    & you're right, it's just that it's too much fun to adjust just one more little thing :)

    Cheers!

    Update:

    Had to add this little gem to it...

    * "Load" added to the "Center Momentum" calculations.

    You feel it on accelerating or breaking while turning.

    Damn, I'm sorry, but it's amazing what 7 lines of code can do here...
    To me it's much better than "Momentum" from just earlier today.
    (Please know that this is 5 mins of break work,so it really is not a lot, even though it might sound like it sometimes).

    If you want closer to Default feel, then adjust "center_momentum" closer to 0.0.
    But I'm afraid it's unlikely I will ever do so myself now... :)

    It's coding addiction in general. That's what 20+ years of game development in my earlier days did to me :)
