I think setup for most cars is too open. The road cars should be almost completely fixed I guess including TC and ABS settings (devs best guess better than fully open IMO.) Brake bias, gear ratios and steering lock are available for every car AFAIK. Also any car with adjustable diff settings has all diff types available.

I thought all the adjustments in the setup screen are as what we would have in a real thing?

Not always.. I found the G58 P2 does not fully align with the technical manual. Some of the ranges are out.

V8 Supercars do not permit changes to the individual gear ratios or final drive ratio. Currently you can alter these. They use drop gear ratios permitted for various tracks.

Also some vehicles have 1mm bump stops which is not accurate or oversized bump stops for the 3rd spring.

Camber adjustments of 0.5 degrees is also too large and should be increments of 0.1 degrees..

TC and ABS with a range of 0-100% is nowhere near real life..

Feel free to not use all, what's possible.
I personally regard this very conveniant, when working on a setup.
Drive on track, make your impression, go to pit, make your changes, go back on track, heat your tyres, remember your impression from before and judge the success of changes.
    Much easier the other way.;)

Developers already replied that it is in their plans to restrict the setup details in the future as some cars have few items that are visible but not usable and some that are usable and should not be. It will not be tomorrow.
Having TC/ABS from 0-100% may not be what the pilot can use but what engineers can use for sure.
Anyway, they said it's going to be refined but not very high in their priority list

Great job guys love the Silverstone DLC!!!
Silverstone 2020 is amazing! so much better than anything we ever had in AMS1 or sister game pcars2 ... but something doesn't feel right compared to laser scanned version we have in ACC by quite a bit in the first corner.
In T1(Abbey corner) there is a hump in AMS2 that is not present in laser scanned tracks and doesn't appear to be on the onboard videos and it is very annoying as it makes the corner quite a lot more difficult than it is.
Also The Loop is a strange corner as it looks like it is missing a bit of camber on entry and the dip in the middle of the corner is also not there on the laser scanned tracks as the descend starts and goes progressively when entering the corner :)!

Nice! I don’t have the DLC yet but glad to see different configurations of the historic tracks being added.

Still no hint about the mystery fourth car...

Why did you removed the color indicators from the buttons off the Xbox 360 controller?

Curious.. Why does the likes of formula retro have an active pit limiter..? I would not have thought they were equipped with this tech back then..

Every car in the game temporarily has a working limiter. I assume once the limiters get programmed to be associated with authentic aids, we'll go back to what we had in AMS 1 (only cars with limiters in real life have them in the game).

We should also remove pit speed limits for those cars though...

Or, make people obey the speed limit with their foot as was/is done for many years in many series.

There were no real pit speed limits in the 70s. (Not kidding, watch some 70s F1 pit stops...probably even in 80s pit stops you will see, how dangerous that stuff was)

Lots of tracks have pit speed limits (100% today and even many in the olden days), but many, many cars do not have electronic limiters. One racing skill is maximizing pit speed the old fashioned way...by rpm since many race cars also don't have a speedometer!
