    Fanatec BMW GT3 Wheel with paddles
    Fanatec H pattern shifter connected to wheel
    Manu-factory Porsche GT3 sequential shifter
    There needs to be the ability to use sequential shifter, I select it in options and it shows up and down buttons selected, but when you go in game sequential won’t work. Paddles or H-pattern will. All other games it will work.
    When will this be rectified?

    I recently got the SQ1.5 and had the issue when I had older driver even when I checked the box in the Fanatec driver to combine shifter but with latest driver I can just slide the shifter from H pattern to Seq in game and go between cars with H or seq gear box no problem. It just combines the paddles to the seq side of the shifter.
    We do need better controller options though.

    I would prefer to use wheel paddles on some cars and standalone sequential shifter on others. Currently the game only lets you bind one set of buttons for shift up/down, so I agree more flexibility needed.

    You can use either paddles or seq on seq cars well with Fanatec you can. Just combine paddles and seq together in Driver ;) but yes more flexibility would be great.

    If/when they address this it would be very useful if they add a "use seperate shifter" option like in AC. For one it avoids the confusion caused by wrong UI. More importantly for me it stops accidental paddle input when using H pattern. When shifting in VR it is fairly easy (with my setup at least) to catch the paddle when returning my hand to the wheel after shifting. It doesn't happen that often but it could ruin a race at the wrong moment.

    I have the DD2 and a Cube Controls wheel and the only way to set things up was to setup the DD2 as Custom

    @2ndLastJedi and @Coanda
    I tried it but it does not work for me, it does not bind the keys, it is either sequential or paddles, selecting the combine key does nothing. :(:(

    You could try third party software like Joy2key and map both the paddles and shifter to the same button press for up shift and down shift. Then map those buttons in game to the actions

    You only have to assign the paddles as your up and down shift buttons. If you have ticked the combine option in the driver settings, It will be recognised by the game. Both Input methods do work as 1.

    That is exactly what I have done. Really handy to be able to jump between different vehicles and not have to switch control assignments. Of course it would be nice if you could have multiple assignments in game.

    When asking for the binding of sequential and paddle I now realize that a red line appear in the driver saying the paddle is blinded to a gs key, but my sequential are acting on gear 3 and 4, as per the driver menu. I might have to get an other driver, would you be able to tell me the number of the driver you are using?
