The historical trackpack only adds historic layouts of modern tracks that allready are in ams2.

I'd still assume that with all the tracks listed and Monza's status in the history of F1 and racing in general it will be one of the DLC's. Its also a track that's gone through some changes over the years, so it will be a nice track to develop different historical versions of (hoping for the Monza oval + regular circuit combo as well).

I'm with Dolph on that, getting to play all of the iteration of Monza would definitely be awesome!

Monza can be found in any SIM so it's nice to have but not neccessary.
I think Mexico City would be much better.
It fits perfectly to the historic 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s cars and the 2010s/2020s cars, too.
And it's not found in every SIM :)

…and: Mexico City doesn't cause the same forum battle between those who claim that the historic Monza oval banking is so bumpy that it's undrivable, and those who claim that it's not bumpy enough to be realistic ;)

Ummm, yes it does! Unless you have definitive info about the bumps in the banked Peraltada.

Agree with @alink and wish they also include the oval along with the regular current and historical layouts. And, I guess also the new Formula E layout.

Monza, in my opinion, cannot be missing in a simulator ...

Let's start doing some investigation about bumps :D
And all the different layouts which were and are used.
Beside F1 there were also Cart/ChampCar from 2002 till 2006 (2002-2005 with stadium, 2006 with Peraltada section), NASCAR (2005-??) used a double chicane on front stretch and short-cut Horquilla and Formula E uses several short layouts.
But of course, the best are 1959-85 (with the tires inside corners against short cutting) and 1986-99.
AND: Mexico City would also fit as the best track for the wind and altitude (6000ft / <> 2000m above sea level) simulation which is in AMS2!
    More to find here:
    Mexico City

True, Monza is one of the very important tracks in racing history but due to the concept of AMS, in my opinion, Monza isn't really a 'need to have', but a 'nice to have', of course.

You have formula 1 classic, but not Monza... it's weird...
maybe because i'm italian, but monza is in the races history, every kind of race, since almost a century
monza, spa, silverstone, hockenheim, nurburgring: I think none of this must missing in a driving similator

Yes, Monza and Spa have a huge history but I’ve lost the interest in racing them because every online lobby in any sim features these two tracks. Look at the lobbies in AC: GT3 at Monza or Spa. Seems that simracers only want those.

Hope so, been very quiet around here recently. Technically it will be an October update for us here, getting it about four weeks before everyone else, lol
