I have a language related question. What does the English word “pass” mean in the opening post?
Often I read “art pass” or “performance pass” and I already tried google translator to German, but not sure if I found proper translation yet...

When will the update come out with GT3 and GT4 cars and Nurburgring Pack featuring GP, Nordschleife & 24h layouts (individually this will sell for US $ 9.99 / € 8.99) - TO BE RELEASED IN OCTOBER 2020?

I guess it's a art clean up to fix up anything not correct from the first release of those tracks.
I assume pass means to pass over and fix things.

    Thx ;)

Well, BMW M3 E30 & Mercedes 190 Evolution are not Group A cars, but FIA class 1 1993 as there's ABS allowed. Too bad, less pleasure.

They are both Group A, DTM used Group A until 1993. Mercedes upgraded their Group A car to Class 1 temporarily in 1993 whilst they built a new car but the regs were based on Group A since the Group 5 era ( under the names DRM and briefly DPM). Admittedly the rules in DTM differed slightly, but Group A was very much the base from 1984-1992.

The M3 was used in Group A based championships all over the world.

Unless you’re being sarcastic and suggesting the cars in game shouldn’t have ABS, in which case I’d stick that in the bugs forum.

    Great job Reiza Team!

The M1 BMW is one of the best cars I have ever driven in simracing (and sounds amazing) :)
AI racing overall is good - need minor tweaks but overall they provide fun and challenging races.
New camera movment is also great addition.
That's the spirit Reiza Team :hurrayreiza:
    Thanks

Can somebody explain to me why there are Lotus 23's and Mini's mixed together in Historic Touring cars?

Whats with the UI specs for the Lotus 23 and Mini Cooper S? Are they the actual specs ingame? It has the Mini at a whopping 785kg! They were homologated at 615kg I think and sites like touringcarracing.net list the 1965 1.3ltr at 620kg with 115hp rather than 175hp!! (that power might make sense for a Lotus Twin Cam L23 but not sure if that engine went in the early cars or not.) I think the Lotus 23 should be around 400kg and power depends on the engine.

I’m hoping the blog on Monday can clarify if that’s the intention for the class or some temporary ‘solution’ whilst they’re stuck licensing other cars that make more sense. If this is the “60´s/70´s vintage touring cars” as quoted from May’s blog, I feel a little shortchanged TBH.

But let’s see what Monday’s blog brings, Reiza have earned their weekend off!

I'm not sarcastic, the Group A cars shouldnt have ABS, Power Assist Brake (Group A) is not ABS (FIA Class 1).

Imagine you have an old painting. The colours have started to fade and the paint has begun to crack. You give it to an art restoration professional (I forget how they are called). He is going to make and art pass of the painting, meaning restoring the colours to their original and he's also going to fix the cracks in the paint or canvas. At the end, you will have your painting, the exact same one you gave him, but it will be fixed of any damages and will be more pretty to look at!

Art pass on a track is changing textures to new, improved or just different/more appropriate ones, and a performance pass means they check where a track has performance (lower fps) issues and why, and fix them in order to eliminate them.

    I hope I helped. :)

Gotcha (I’ve not used the cars yet so wasn’t sure that you meant they had ABS in game), sounds like a mistake or something not completely finished to me.

The livery of the Mercedes is in cockpit view always red. Needs to be fixed.

New content needs some polish overall, but very huge stepping stone of an update in terms of driving!

Thank you for the hard work Reiza team! Reminder, I'd like to know how I can contribute more to AMS2 and its development. For example in the UI, that's slowly getting better, but there's lots of low hanging fruits there.
