I see where you're coming from, but you can't blame Reiza for problems with a 3rd party app. Especially in this case. The gain for players using ICM is huge.

 

Yeah, my bad, it seemed longer ago to me.

And im not complaining, i can go on road america and watch the worlds first ingame Tesla Train, which is nice and quiet, and a nice attention to detail, hopefully they add sound to that, would really complete the experience.

The old ICM calling buttons still work though. You may leverage on that.

Yes but everyone who was not using CC macros was hating the old ICM. Now you can actually do change something without ending your race into the wall before the changes are done

 

Yah, I don't think there should be any/much difference between the two chassis, so that lighter one likely to get tweaked in next update.

But overall, CART historically and the current Indycars have the heaviest steering of any race car (as mentioned above--huge tires, manual steering, high down force).

 

I don't have music while driving I don't know I just went to the wall to see it and could here a low res sample of the train passing by, it's a one time thing anyway you will see it briefly at 200mph and nothin more. I mean it's cool and love the livery but this is for racing

 

Ok, yeah i turned off the ingame music completely, so it might be attached to that, or another sound channel i might need to turn up to hear it then

 

having looked at the behaviour of the new ICM, there's no way I can automate it any more in its current state without a bunch of stuff being added to shared memory.

- Each menu page wraps vertically - I can't know where the cursor is
- Items not selectable are skipped when navigating, so it's an unknown number of up/down presses to get from the top to the bottom (depending on what's allowed in the session)
- Strategy, Tyre type and Request Pit wrap horizontally (the menu just goes round and round when you keep pressing in one direction), so I can't put it to a known position
- Other items (fuel, driver swap, mixture etc) *don't* wrap horizontally (better, but why the inconsistency?)
- When pressing esc or menu timeout, the next time you open the menu the cursor position and page tries to resume from where it was - the app would need to hold what it thinks the menu page and position are and this is probably linked to the session, will be way too easy for CC and the menu state to drift / become unsynchronized


All in all, I can see that the menu is slightly better when clicking through it but the changes make any kind of macro / automation approach impossible. Sorry guys, I'm going to have to remove that feature from CC's AMS2 support

I just want to stress my opinion on the content releases.
Right now there is so much content in the game that I think everyone no matter taste could be happy regarding both tracks and cars. I would be happy with the games variety if someone told me that no further cars or tracks will be added.
What i would like to see is a focus on bugfixes, AI, physics update and especially the Multiplayer.

 

Absolutely, there are still some longstanding bugs in there, on the other hand there are people who bought dlc that is not completely done, so that makes it difficult prioritizing, maybe the best thing they can do is release the stuff thats delayed a long time, such as the historic tracks, then focus on the stuff you mention, while extending the season pass, to give themselves more time to get up to speed with everything.

I like the addition of mirror adjustment. I was really missing it. Pitty own car is not reflected but that's a minor detail.
I do wish though the function could be mapped to buttons. Would be good especially if there's no quali or practice on the session.
But hey, I'm still loving the fact we can adjust them.

 

Nah nothing like science, I retested and no sound, not that is that important, the track is great!
