The thing is: if you have a financially powerful backer you can acquire up front expensive licenses and have big teams developing the corresponding content. If you are a small developer without a rich publisher a or an equally rich real world series promoter backing you up the process of licenses acquisitions can't be as aggressive, both in terms of acceptable costs and time frame

The positive thing to take from this is that Reiza must be in a good place financially. Their slow-but-steady-progress approach hasn't changed so it must be working for them. Does anyone remember how many side projects SMS had to do to keep pcars going? Red Bull Air Race? World of Speed? F&F Crossroads? PCARS Go?

The long game is the right move. People still play GTR2 lol.

 

Just to clarify, Reiza's focus with AMS2 changed yes, in AMS1 it was much more focused on Brazilian circuits and series, today AMS2 is focused much more on series outside Brazil specifically European with DLC in North American, almost all series Brazilians were a port from AMS1 to AMS2, apart from Stock Car 2020 and Sprint Race, which are the only news about Brazilian series, the rest are all international, including circuits, I don't think that's bad, but I hope they don't abandon it, because much of the success of AMS It was because of the Brazilian series.
