Yes 100%, there is zero ambience at the moment apart from helicopters and aeroplanes for some reason. Crowd should be loud at the race start, not in silent prayer

I just want to hit the finish race flag guy as in the good old Super Monaco GP.

Maybe the vintage tracks (the 1970 ones) could let you do that, after all on-track flag guys were the style at the time
Not worth it without proper simulated ragdoll physics though

Yes, I've considered getting a wheel and I hope I can get one in the future, but at the moment it's not a viable option at all for me.
One reason is cost: I live in Brazil, even a basic wheel & pedals like G29 is very expensive around here, importing one from US/EU is out of the question due to the current dollar/euro exchange rate and the 60% import tax (the tax applies to product price and shipping costs). The other reason is space, I live in a small apartment with limited space.
So, for the moment controller is the way to go for me. Games such as rF1, rF2, AMS1, GTR2, R3E, AC, ACC work fine with my Xbox controller, but F1 games, PCars1/2, and AMS2 don't work so well because of the filters. Hopefully Reiza can implement an option to disable all the controller filters so that controller support is as good as it was in AMS1.

Need loud thunder sound during rain, what would be awesome. A flash of lightning in the background, then BOOOM!! Make it really loud!

Fair enough bud, that makes total sense. I don't have a full racing rig, just clamp it onto the desk and stow it when I'm done, hope to change that soon but it works in my tight space. Hopefully you can catch a bargain in the future and pick one up cheap. =)

Not to bring up a sore subject but, the only thing I think the Formula Ultimate Gen2 really NEEDS is a clear halo pillar.

I've had to because it feels like every time I read it I find a new feature I somehow skimmed over last time

I like this addition. I'm hoping it includes a minimum of 33 car slots so we can have a full Indy 500 field for the "Formula USA 2022". Love the track additions and hope we'll see more IndyCar circuits in Part 4.

Indy and COTA maybe? I know SMS had scans for both of those in PCARS2.

They also had the DW12 as well in the old "manufacturer aero" specs. For such an ancient chassis and the compromises of having to shoe-horn in a halo-aero-screen the chassis wasn't designed for, the current IR18 doesn't look too bad.

Granted the front wings probably don't produce nearly the same downforce they did previously, but the "Universal Aero Kit" somehow transformed a pretty busy, occasionally hideous set of cars into a simple, yet clean design.

When I played PCARS2, the aerokit spec car from 2016 was my most driven car on that game by a long way. I did Indy 500s and Indy 250s and it was fun to drive on a road course. The variability of the Madness engine helps, too. That car at Silverstone was a blast and I'll be driving this iteration in the #51 or the #18 when it comes out. I drove the new-spec car when I did iRacing for a few months and that at Fontana was awesome. I just hope it feels right enough to make me want to drive it for thousands of miles, again as well as the 90s stuff.

l Probably haven't read things correctly.
But what is the difference with the 65' mini that is already in the game?
