    To be fair, the whole thing was that certain teams were using an audio cue just before the lights (which were at a specific time every race) to get the perfect start every time, so they changed when the lights went green to catch those teams out
    It's why starts are randomised these days

    1999 European Grand Prix when it caught everyone out. A number of drivers randomly jumped the start, causing an abandoned start.
